After seeing Sonya get kicked out and Lyra come out shocked, I can't decide if I'm scared or excited. Well, it's too late to change my mind. I've already walked in.

"So, what's first?" Apate surprises me with a question I don't understand. I have barely seen the inside of this place and I'm already confused. "Uuh...Wha...what?" I stutter over my words, pulling hair behind my ear so the now burning skin on my face can get cold air. Apate merely pats my back before walking away. This is my chance to study the shop.

I look straight ahead.

This...isn't a shop...

I've just realized that my surroundings aren't what the normal person would expect. Everything kind of clashes with each other. The floor is checkered black and white carpet, the walls are all yellow and forest green striped. There's two beds, with the headboards towards each other. The beds are only separated by a window and bedside table in between the ends. One of the beds has a dark blue comforter  with various constellations on it. It's pillow is a blinding neon pink color. The bed itself is messy and clearly not made.

The other bed is nicely done, and much more different. The covers are all several colors. There's about three layers of blankets and two pillows. One of the pillows is beaten up and crooked, the other is nice.

While I'm studying my surroundings, everything becomes fuzzy and weird. As if I'm intoxicated or something. My body is heavy yet light, it's also suddenly really hot. My vision is looks distorted and loose. I can't keep my balance either. I try to take a step forward, but end up falling into the nicely made bed. "Haahh gah..." I groan as I stub my toes into the bed frame's side. I hold my upper body up with my shaking arms. I scan the room to see if Apate is in here, but I'm by myself. I do notice one thing though.

There's burning tears on my already hot face and a now spilled bottle of wine on the floor.

The white wine soaks the square it landed on, as does the liquid flowing from my face soak the hair that's sticking to my cheeks. Why am I crying? Why am I drunk? Why can't I move? My body takes itself to the doorway, nearly tripping over the bottle and slamming into the wall next to the door. As I exit into the hallway, I find myself staring at a young girl with similar brown curls to mine. She and I both pause what we were doing once I reach the living room's light, she stares up at me while another teenaged girl with long black hair desperately tries to avoid looking at me. They're sitting on a brown leather couch, doing nothing from the looks of it. "Where...where's..." My mouth attempts to speak, but the girl looks down and grunts. "They're...he's on the roof with the dragons."

My body stumbles to a door leading outside of the house. I try to gently close the door once I get outside. Then I hear a loud sniffle and awkward chuckle from above me. I wipe the tears off my face as I walk away from the house and into the night. But the further I walk out, the lighter the yard ahead of me gets. Almost as if it's becoming day with every step. When I turn around, everything shifts and I'm in an entirely new place.

I'm next to an old stone structure and I sense huge amounts of dark energy all around me. I'm not as dizzy or oozy as I was before, but I can still feel my senses being slightly off. I begin searching around my surroundings with paranoia, expecting something to attack me. That's when a winged human appears from above me, coming at me like a falcon to it's prey. For some reason, I'm frozen in place and just looking up at my doom coming at me. The boy has claws reaching out like some sort of demonic creature. Before he reaches me, I'm shoved to the ground by another kid. This time it's a scyra kid who looks closely related to the girl from before.

A shield forms around us, the winged person attempts to break through with a sword he summond from the necklace around his neck. While he's continuously slashing into the force repelling him, I sit in shock. The kid who saved me is having an incredibly hard time as he's groaning in pain. "Hey! Stop, you'll hurt yourself!" I yell at him, seeing that he's bleeding from the nose and crying from the pain he's giving himself by working his powers so much.  I reach out to him, trying not to flinch every time the attacker swings his blade. I get closer and closer. My heart is pounding almost as fast as the sword being swung at me moves through the air and into the shield. Once I'm nearly touching the boy's shoulder, he crouches foward. He begins yelling as the tears fall into ground and he wraps his arms around himself. I move back from reaching to him for a moment, but I feel a sudden heavy need to protect him from himself. I launch my arm to him, grabbing his shoulder. His eyes open wide, with his blue irises shining bright.

The shield pushes out, sending the winged person flying. The scyra clumsily stands up, looking back at me before collasping completely. I catch him, but when his body hits my arms, I open my eyes to see myself in a new location.

A room of mirrors.

Each wall is it's own mirror and the floor is covered with splattered paint. My body returns to normal. I just sit there on the floor for a moment, breathing hard.

"You had a rather emotional vision, didn't you?"

Apate's accent echoes in the room, I look to the source to see her sitting at a table. I don't budge from where I'm sitting, but I do reposition myself to where I have my legs crossed and I'm facing her. I can't speak though. I'm dead silent.

"You're soon going to meet some important people, are you ready for that, Aaron?"

She continues on, I still stay quiet.

"You'll leave a mark on an amazingly powerful scyra. Both in his life and on his face."

Apate stands up from the table, clapping her hands and making it disappear.

"Your friends out there are going to be with you for a long time. Your enemies will become allies after a while."

She takes a few steps foward.

"You will make a close friend in a matter of weeks, he's going to be the encouragement for you getting with your future wife."

She stops, smiling to herself.

"You're going to start this journey soon."

Apate looks at me with a serious glare.

"Go to the city with all of the scyras. That's where it begins."
