BEING UP IN the clouds was fun and all, and the silence comforted them as they looked over the sky, each lost in thought until - "Shut up, me" Leo said aloud, unbeknowst to him that he didn't even say anything.
"What?" Piper asked.
"Nothing," he said. "Long night. I think I'm hallucinating. It's cool."
"It's not cool, Lion Boy; don't be dying on us." Hana replied as Jason nodded, begging inside that Leo was just joking or not since he really didn't want to crash land this early in the quest.
"Just joking." Leo decided it might be good to change the subject. "So what's the plan, bro? You said something about catching wind, or breaking wind, or something?"
"As they flew over New England," Jason laid out the game plan: "First, find some guy named Boreas and grill him for information—"
"His name is Boreas?" Leo had to ask and Hana cocked her head. "What is he, the God of Boring?"
"Of course not! That's Ania, personification of distress, sorrow, grief and uh...boredom." Hana answered, Leo turned to her for a second.
"You know this but you couldn't pass Spanish back at school even after I helped you cheat?!" Leo said as she shrugged, the two grinning as the three Wilderness kids remembered throwing paper wads with the answers on it at each other.
"Second, Jason continued - feeling slightly left out that he wasn't actually there to have jokes with them too, "We have to find those venti that had attacked us at the Grand Canyon—
"Can we just call them storm spirits?" Leo asked. "Venti makes them sound like evil espresso drinks."
"I'm a basic bitch man I'd drink them if they were ventis." Hana said, not actually thinking before she spoke, Jason nudged her - giving her a look saying 'Not helping man',
"And third," Jason finished, "We have to find out who the storm spirits worked for, so we can find Hera and free her."
"So you want to look for Dylan, the nasty storm dude, on purpose," Leo said. "The guy who threw me off the skywalk and sucked Coach Hedge into the clouds."
"That's about it," Jason said. "Well ... there may be a wolf involved, too. But I think she's friendly. She probably won't eat us, unless we show weakness."
Jason told them about his dream—the big nasty mother wolf and a burned-out house with stone spires growing out of the swimming pool.
"Uh-huh," Leo said. "But you don't know where this place is."
