A door opens to another day
Shedding light to a new beginning
My eyes, blinded as I crawl out of slumber
Gazing at the bright rays
With hopes of ever seeing your beauty
Longing to be in your arms
Drawn to your gravity
I took to the stars
As far as the light can go
I kept on reaching
But you kept on fading
Only darkness there I saw
I have lost the light
Trapped in space
A soul I kept from your embrace
An escape in which I cannot escape
