Time is just an illusion
And progress is its disguise
A reality born out of desperation
In the name of order and lies

Time is nothing but a wall we'll never cross
A boundary that forever binds us to our daily cross
Trapping us in the form of dates and numbers
All for the sake of peace and order

Now, imagine a world without time
The order of human beings, gone
A world of beauty and strife combined
The price we have to pay for genuine freedom

Imagine a world where time wouldn't matter
We'd celebrate our birthdays anytime we want
We'll eat breakfast for dinner or whenever
No one would care if you only eat ice cream for lunch
We'd sleep, work and play whenever we want
And yet everyone seems to be doing what needs to be done

Imagine a world where time ceases to exist
No holidays and trick or treats
No yesterdays, tomorrow, or pick you up at six
Nothing but just sweet goodbyes and memories

History would be meaningless
We don't even seem to learn from the past
If time is indeed moving forward
Then why doesn't it stop haunting us

And age wouldn't matter then
No one would give a shit
There's no old or young
Only respect to those who deserve it
Only the ignorant, the wise, and the dumb
