I dare say, the memories were gold
But I yield to what we have become
Dust into the times of old

At least we should save what we should have
been

To truly love is an overstatement
We're not ready for the struggle

Stop thinking too much
Why are you so slow to see the bigger picture

We both have our personal issues
Both still learning
Finding a place to fit the pieces

So how do you expect to move forward

In silence
Trying to contemplate
Still searching for a path to start

For them to see
The mockery we have become
