In shock, didn't take a blink 
Couldn't you have stayed a little bit more 
I wished I did not wake 
                          You fought your way through 
Surrounded by eyes in stern 
In awe, stood your ground 
Brave, dared you would return 
                          I kept on contemplating 
Should I have followed through 
Unclear, you kept on fading 
But I still see your ghostly hues 
                          Let your love find me 
In dreams and prayers still 
Fervent, I'll stay the same 
As I have always been
