                                              The sun shines upon you now
Feel its warmth caress your face 
Wake up and see a brighter day somehow 
Embrace life's unending grace
                          And though wherever the light touches
Form shades of darkness 
The light exists for those who dare to gaze 
Step out and set your soul ablaze 
                          And though you may be in pain
Though you may suffer and burn
There is beauty in your flame
A metamorphosis in return 
                          Life can be absurd 
Left to wander in this unknown world 
And though that may seem to be
Life is the reason you came to be
