In the shadows I sat
There I saw her being swallowed by darkness
She trembled before the night
Failing to see that she was the light

                          
As she walks on steadily through the sky
Thick clouds surround her
Keeping away from my sight 
How I wish she could see through my eyes
Such a mystical glow of beauty 
Even the tides shall rise

                          
Do not be ashamed of your scars 
Of those cracks on the surface 
You've held on for as long as the sun 
There's no reason to shun

                          
So break away from your demise 
Shed your light and touch every soul in slumber
Claim your throne on the night 
You deserve more 
More than you could ever hoped for
