We ran through the halls of the dungeon, and up the stairs to the throne room. There sat my mother, Ruby, in her throne. As soon as we entered the room we were surrounded by drones created by her.

"Awe my baby boy has finally decided to show up to the party" she grinned. Now I can see were Tony gets his personality. Not that that matters right now what matters is stopping my mother from taking over everything.

"What gives you the right to take away my home when you were never in my life" I cried back at her. Her grin disappeared as I assume I hit a soft spot.

"I have been there. Maybe not in the light, but I've been there. I would tuck you in at night when it's cold and I would sing you to sleep" she spoke softly like a mother. It doesn't change anything.

"Dad was there for me not you and he's more of a father than my lowlife dead Cupid father" I yelled as tears fell from my eyes. She stood up from her seat and made her way towards me.

"Hush darling, I'm here now and that's all that matters we can be together now" she said raising her hand to touch my cheek.

"ZIAN DON'T LET HER TOUCH YOU THAT'S HOW SHE CONTROLS YOU" Kyran screamed at me as I snapped out of my trance. I smacked her hand away and wiped my tears away.

"If you won't learn to be an actual mother then don't touch me" I said staring her in the eyes. I can see the pain she's been through, I can feel her sorrow.

"I know my actual mother is in there. I remember the cold nights and the sweet voice that sang to me" I spoke carefully.

"BUT I JUST NEED YOU TO COME OUT AND LISTEN TO ME" I screamed and took out my scythe. Ruby jumped back out of range, as I ran towards her. Kyran, Blake, Tyler, Ciel, and Zari fought off the drones. This was my fight and no one else's. This is my mother that I have to save, if I can. I kept swinging my scythe at her, but she keeps dodging my hits. Just one small scrape and maybe she'll listen.

"I don't want to hurt you, but I will if you don't stop." I yelled out to her, but she just smiled.

"I can take whatever you throw at me baby" Ruby laughed while still dodging my attacks. I have to hit her like I did last time. Bring my real mom out.

"I don't love you" I stopped dead in my tracks.
"I never loved you, I never thought of you not once" I said calmly looking at her. She stopped, we were standing still. There was no movement from either of us. I got her I hit her hard this time. She looked more dead than she ever had been. I had a chance and I took it. I ran up to her and she never saw it happen. Once I swung my scythe she was gone and there was only black smoke. The drones all disappeared and it was only us standing here. A few seconds of silence and the doors swung open. My dad and Tony were standing there. Tony had tears in his eyes as my dad walked over to me.

"I can take it from here" he spoke softly and calmly as he took his scythe out of my hands. With a swift swing downward a gaping black smoke hole appeared.

"Tony, take your brother home and stay with him. You've both been through a lot" Tony grabbed my hand as everyone followed us home. My home.
