Pov Coco

I was on the ground, I could feel my arm was broken and I was cut all over. I remember how he started his attack. He appeared behind us and instantly slashed Velvet's back. After that I couldn't even process what happened, he was to fast. My team was just as bad shape as me, especially Velvet. Some reason he was targeting her exclusively we all tried to help but neither of us could even hit him. Fox was unconscious and Yatsuhashi was unable to move since his legs were dislocated. He was standing over Velvet stepping on her head, I failed as a leader.

Pestilence: "Pity such an adorable faunus like yourself will meet her end here."

"Let her go!"

Pestilence: "Why would I do that?"

"Please if your gonna kill someone kill me I'm the leader I should be the one to die."

Pestilence: "Please you will all die soon enough and this faunus will be first."

"Why, why did you target her specifically. Why did you hurt her so badly."

Pestilence: "Two reasons: One she feared me the most. Two you all felt great despair after witnessing my brutality towards her. So her death will make you all lose hope and the will to live." This guy is a monster, I refuse to accept that he is human. He kicked velvet to a nearby tree. The look on her face was heartbreaking, she was in tears and terrified. He walked towards her and began to raise his weapon in the air as it revved up. He was going to kill her and no one can do anything to stop him.

I couldn't watch but rather than hear her scream or his weapon hit her I heard it clash with something. I look and see someone had blocked his attack and I recognize who he was.

"F/N?"

F/N: "Mind if I cut in?"

Pov Ruby

We were walking closer to the center of the woods. The strange thing is we haven't encountered any of the creatures.

Blake: "Guys don't you find it strange that we have yet to encounter anything?"

Yang: "Yeah where is everyone?" As if on cue we hear someone or something come out of the bushes we had our weapons ready only to see Team JNPR.

Pyrrha: "Well it's great to see you all are safe."

Weiss: "Same to all of you, have you encountered anyone or anything?"

Ren: "We have but they avoided us for some unknown reason." (Reminder Ren and Jaune are girls in this story.)

Elizabeth: "This makes no sense why have an outbreak of an unknown enemy only to have them avoid us?"

"Guys we should keep looking for F/N."

JNPR: "Wait F/N?"

Shinbi: "Right you guys don't know he came back."

"He was thrown off our bullhead so we are trying to find him, and we hope he's okay."

Nora: "Well lets get going and find him."

Jeanne: "We can't leave a friend behind."

We seemed to arrive at the center of the corruption and we noticed a giant monster that was different than the one we've encountered.
