Just found out that my favorite giraffe passed away last year. His name was Maji and he lived at the zoo I grew up going to. We had the same birthdate which made him very special to me. I moved when I was 8, which was the last time I saw him. He was later transferred to a different zoo. The Frank Buck Zoo in Texas was where he lived out the remainder of his years.
