I had to put this up today.

*15 years later...

"Hey mom," my thirteen year old daughter Rosalina says as she walks through the front door.

"Hey babe."

"Hey Mrs. Besson," her friend, Adaline tells me.

I wave at her, "So what do you girls want?"

Rose taps her chin, "Taco bell?"

I sigh and shake my head, "You truly are your father's daughter. I meant here. I don't feel like driving. And your aunts and uncles are coming over for dinner remember?"

Adaline rummages through the fridge. She pulls out two apples, "Apple's are fine Mrs. B."

I nod.

Corbyn walks through the door.

I run up to him like a little girl, "Hi honey."

I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Since when do you call me honey?" He says into my neck. It gives me a shiver up my spine.

I shrug, "I don't know. Just wanted to try it out."

I can feel him smile, "Well never again."

Rose hugs her dad.

"We're gonna go study," she says before running up the stairs.

Adaline finishes her apple, "Thanks Mr. and Mrs. B." She heads up the stairs, but I stop her.

"Addy," I start, "You know you can call us by our first names right?"

She looks down, "I thought you're supposed to respect elders and call them by their last names."

Corbyn and I stifle our laughs.

"You better run upstairs now, before we don't let you come back." Corbyn jokes.

She puts her hands up, screams, and runs.

Corbyn and I walk into the kitchen. He sits on the table and finishes up some work.

"Hey," I says sitting on his lap, "Are we really old?"

He shrugs, "If 34 and 35 are old then yes. But I don't think we're old."

I frown a little. Everything feels like it happened so long ago.

"Y/N," he cups my cheek, "When I look at you, I don't see you now. I see the girl I fell in love with before I even knew what love was. I see the girl that helped me through the stress and I know we've hit some holes in the cheese, but no matter what, we'll always be the same awkwardly romantic teenagers we once were."

I bust out laughing. He looks confused, "I don't see how that was funny, but hey..."

It feels like my lungs are going to burst, "Holes in the cheese?"

It's his turn to laugh now, "Yeah. Cuz like some cheese has holes? You've never heard that before?"

I shake my head. Then the doorbell rings.

"WAYHOO" Zach says as soon as we open the door.

Jonah laughs, "Some things never change." After that everyone comes in.

Here how everything ended up.

Jonah married Karen. They had twins named Meadow and Noah. They look like the perfect mix between their parents.
