song for chapter: bound to you by jocelyn alice
{ I should have fallen out of love with you by now, but I've got a part, Ive got a piece, I've got a heart permanently bound to you }

THURSDAY
[ ALLISON'S POV ]

Slowly, Ethans fingers ran through my hair pulling on certain stands that sent a warm chills though out my entire body.

"We should get out of bed at some point today." I adjusted my body to where I was now laying with my hands on his chest; my chin rested onto my hands.

"No, this is peaceful. I like being here with you." His huge warm hands held onto each side of my face.

A pink blush smoothed over over face while I looked away from him to avoid looking like an idiot.

"We're gonna have to tell them at some point." I was referring to our friends.

"I know, but not right now." His hands slid onto my lower back and squeezed me tightly to pull me closer to him.

A couple small giggles left my mouth from the loss of air. He pushed his fingers into my hips twice causing me to jump.

"Oh, we are not starting the whole tickle thing again." I gave him a stern look.

"You sure about that?" His eyebrow lifted while he pressed on my hips again. My whole body jumped as my nerves tingled.

"Stop!" A large smile smeared over my lips.

His hands stopped moving while his eyes rested onto me; gazing at me. A natural warm smile spread onto his swollen lips.

I calmed down as my eyes started to automatically stare back into his. "What?" I questioned.

"Nothing." A small chuckle left his mouth, "I just missed looking at you."

My cheeks started to blush like crazy. I brought my hands up to my face and covered my cheeks. "Stop my face keeps getting hotter and hotter."

"Facts." He shrugged with a grin.

"Oh my god." I rolled my eyes as I caught onto what he meant.

His hand gently grabbed onto the hair that fell in front of my face. His eyes followed his hand as he placed his behind my ear.

"Remember when I promised you that I'd never hurt you again? Like physically." His soft voice asked me.

My heart flooded with warmth at the memory of him telling my that. "Yes, and you never did."

"I already knew that I hurt you mentally, so the one piece of hope I had left was to not break that promise." He let out a small sigh. "The fact that I even had to promise myself that is ridiculous. I'm horrible."

My hand gently held onto the side of his neck, "Stop." I directly told him. "I know you wouldn't ever hurt me. That's in the past."

"You don't have to defend me." He shrugged.

My finger tips lightly ran through his hair, "I'm not defending you. Sure guys get threatening, but I know you. You wouldn't hurt a girl, not again."

"No guy has ever hurt you like I did, Ally." His thumb rubbed against my cheek. "I promise, no one will ever love you like I do."

The sound of his voice and the words he decided to use felt like music to my ears; beautiful.

I don't know if I can trust him with those kind of words again; at least not right now.

My body scooted closer up his body; my lips pressing against his.

Energy. All I felt was energy.
