song for chapter: gone, gone, gone by philip philips
{ baby I'm not moving on, I'll love you long after you're gone }(this song goes perfectly so I recommend putting it on repeat throughout the whole chapter)
2 MONTHS LATER, DECEMBER 16TH
[ ALLISON'S POV ]"Are you sure you want to go?" Taylor asked me while applying the last stroke of burnt red lipstick to her lips.
My eyebrows narrowed as I aimed my attention to her, "It's their birthday, I'm going." I told her as if she were stupid.
She put her hands up in defense, "No need to attack me bitch! I'm just making sure you're ready to see.." she paused so I finished her sentence.
"To see Ethan."
She nodded her head slowly. "Yeah."
I swallowed the air inside of my throat while turning back to my mirror, "I'm ready to see him, no worries."
"Are you gonna tell him?" She asked me causing me to freeze. I stared at myself in the mirror getting nervous.
I let out a huff of stressed air, "Yeah, I have to. He deserves to know."
"You taught him how to have a good heart, Allison. He will understand." She assured me.
My teeth bit onto my bottom lip as small butterflies started to enter my stomach, "I know he will."
I turned back to the mirror flipping my hair once more before grabbing my phone off of my bed.
"Ready?" She lifted her eyebrows at me.
"Yeah, lets go." I grabbed the blue wrapped present off of the dresser and the white wrapped present as well.
She opened the door and held it open for me to walk through, "Why thank you kind lady." I sarcastically winked at her.
"Anytime shit face." She laughed closing the door behind us.

6:40pmAfter Taylor knocked on the door I could instantly feel butterflies sink into my stomach.
As we waited for an answer, I looked around the neighborhood.
There were cars parked all the way down the street; all expensive. Doesn't surprise me though, of course college kids from Los Angeles are gonna have expensive cars.
The door knob to the front door twisted open revealing Mason.
"Mason hey!" Taylor smiled pulling him into a hug.
I smiled as I watched them-waiting for my hug.
"Hey Taylor, loving the boots." He laughed letting go of her and looking down to her feet.
"You better like them. They cost more than my text books." She sassily told him earning a laugh from both of us.
Masons eyes looked to me while he grinned, "hows miss Allison doing?"
I rolled my eyes at his corniness. I walked inside the house and pulled him into a hug, "I'm doing good, how have you been?"
"Really good!" He had a positive tone in his voice. After a couple of seconds he let go of me and closed the door behind us.
This party wasn't like a normal college party that you'd see. It was very calm, everyone just talking while sipping on their drinks.
Most people weren't even drinking which was a very big stress reliever.
