[ ALLISON'S POV ]

My hand grabbed onto the cold metal pole as I pulled myself up onto the brick wall.

Slowly, my body looked over the edge of the building; six stories high.

Every bone inside my body was shaky, but my face stayed plain. I could feel fear hit me as if it were a dart aiming for my body.

My chest breathed heavily up and down. Inhale through my nose, exhale through my mouth.

Absolutely no part of me wants to be alive anymore.

I have nothing to live for.

No one to live for.

I'm poison to everyone.

Constantly, I'm dragging down Grayson, Taylor and Jeff's lives. They would be so happy and be doing so good in life if I weren't in it.

Ethan.

I've been hurting him since the day I moved into his house.

All of the pain he was in for eight years was because of me.

All the pain he's in now is because of me.

Those were the only people I cared about, but now my body refuses to even come close to feeling an emotion.

The cool wind pushed against my face as my eyes looked down at the ground that seemed to keep getting further and further away from me.

A tear streamed down my face, yet I still felt nothing.

It's as if my heart feels something, but there's a wall blocking my heart from my body.

"If I'm supposed to live my life, stop me now." I whispered to myself.

I waited almost ten seconds, but the only thing I heard was the sound of the wind whistling through my ears.

I nodded as I slowly started to let go of the pole; only my feet holding me back.

My eyes closed as I took a deep breath in, then out.

The door to the roof swung open causing me to open my eyes.

[ ETHAN'S POV ]

The sight of her on the edge of the building caused my heart to jump in pain.

"Holy shit." I mumbled running towards her. She looked away from me fully letting go of the pole that she was holding onto.

I stopped dead in my tracks due to her threatening actions. "Stop, Ethan." She bluntly told me as she turned her body half way facing me.

"Ally Stop, you have no idea what you're doing." I told her feeling another tear stream down my face.

"Go home, Ethan." Her eyes looked at me like I was nothing. Just another road block in her way.
