{ really wish that I didn't care about you anymore, but I do }SATURDAY MORNING
[ GRAYSON'S POV ]"Do you wanna go to the bonfire at the beach tonight? I heard Mason saying it's supposed to be really laid back. We could get the girls to go." I suggested spinning around slowly on the bar stool.
"Yeah that sounds fine." Jeff shrugged while cutting up an apple into thin slices.
"Just don't mention it to Ethan." I told him. "I don't want him around Allison." Honestly, I was nervous about them being even in the same room as each other.
Knowing his past and knowing what he's capable of now worries me.
"Trust me, I don't want him there either." Jeff's eyes widened in annoyance. "Where is he anyways?"
I shrugged taking one of the apple slices and taking a bite out of it. "No clue. He always leaves in the mornings on weekends."
"It's only eight in the morning. What could he possible be doing?" Jeff raised his eyebrow at me.
"Probably with a girl to start his day off or getting in a morning workout." I grabbed a napkin wiping my fingers off.
"Those are his only two activities so I wouldn't doubt it." Jeff mumbled.
The front door opened then slammed shut.
Jeff and I's heads turned in the direction of the front door seeing Ethan walk in. He threw his keys onto the counter and walked to the fridge grabbing a water.
"Where have you been?"
His dark filled eyes stared at us, "Out." He shortly answered before walking upstairs having no intentions to talk to us.
Jeff and I both watched him go upstairs to his room; he made sure to slam the door.
I looked to Jeff with wide eyes while looking down, "rough morning."

1:43pm
[ ALLISON'S POV ]"Mmm." Taylor hummed after taking a bite into her sand which. "I don't think I've ever tasted anything so good."
My hands grabbed onto the silver spoon that sat in front of me and dipped it into the hot soup.
Taylor's phone rang once; she got a text.
I stuck my spoon into my mouth letting it take over my tastebuds.
She wiped her mouth with a napkin as she looked down to her phone that rested on the table.
"Who was that?" I raised my eyebrow being curious.
"Grayson, there's a bonfire tonight." She explained to me before picking up her phone to text back, "wanna go?"
I shrugged, "Sure."
Apart of me wanted to see Ethan. Not talk to him, but just see him. Seeing him in person after all this time gives me a feeling that I can't explain.
It's like a mix of satisfaction and relief. Why does he have to be such an ass?
Taylor's phone rang again, "Grayson said to be there by seven tonight."
