THE NEXT DAY
[ ETHAN'S POV ]

My back laid on the couch while my arms were wrapped around a pillow; my eyes pinned onto the ceiling.

The sun traveled through the blinds making the entire house glow with brightness.

"Just cut the apples into thin slices." Taylors voice directed Kelsey from in the kitchen.

"Okay." Kelsey answered as the apple made a crunching noise as she cut into it.

My jaw clinched hearing her voice, even if it was just a single word.

There is no part of me that likes her. I want her out of the house, I want her out of this city, I want her out of our lives.

"I'm going upstairs to get Jeff for lunch." Taylor told Kelsey before putting her silverware down and walking up the stairs.

The sound of footsteps traveled down the stairs-seconds later Grayson walked up to me laying on the couch.

"Hey buddy!" He laughed jokingly while hitting my foot multiple times trying to mess with me in attempt to put me in a positive mood.

Instead, it just pissed me off even more.

"Fucking stop." I aggressively moved my foot away from him.

He put his hands up in defense, "Damn, you're even more feisty than yesterday." A small chuckle left his mouth.

"Can you just stop." I snapped at him in complete annoyance.

"Dude, what the fuck is wrong?" He narrowed his eyebrows becoming more serious.

"Nothing." I mumbled as my eyes traveled back up to the ceiling.

"Don't act like something didn't happen last night." Kelsey spoke from the kitchen making the room go silent.

Grayson looked over to her in the kitchen, then his eyebrow narrowed as her looked back down to me.

I rolled my eyes; shutting them not wanting to be apart of the conversation.

"What happened?" Grayson asked her as he walked towards the kitchen.

I could feel the same tingle of anger running through my body hearing them talk about it.

My brain began to replay the image in my head; overwhelming me with frustration.

I kept my eyes closed trying to cancel out their voices not wanting to hear what she had to say.

She let out a sigh while clearing her throat, "Ethan kissed me last night."

My eyes shot open feeling my jaw clinch so hard that it could have broke, I swear.

Ready to explode, I stood up from the couch, but completely froze when my eyes met the front door-Ally.
