She woke up in the morning and still feeling down. Gusto niyang magtanong kay Kai peru di niya alam kung ano ang itanong. She suddenly felt lost. Bakit parang sobrang halaga ni Alister sa kaniya? Bakit di naman ito nandiri sa babae? By the sound of his voice, by the look of his face she seems very important to him.

Matagal na panahon na bago niya narinig ulet ang pangalan na Alister.

She cooked her breakfast and decided to visit someone before going to work she still got time.

She put a basket of red rose. The flower which she loved so much. It's been a long time since she visit her.

"Hi na miss mo ako no? Don't make tampo tampo with me hah, wag mo din akong takutin o multuhin di ko yun kere. Baka matsugi ako pag bigla ka na lang magpakita sa akin. Kumusta ka na dyan sa heaven? Tita ha na deads ka na di ka nakapag asawa dahan dahan lang sa pagpapagulong gulong ng drum dyan malalakas na ang mga kulog dito sa mother earth." bigla siyang napangiti sa mga pinagsasabi niya para talaga siyang baliw nito.

A silence pass and a cool breeze embrace her skin.

"Alam mo ba Tita boyfriend ko na si Kai. Oo si Saint Izekaia de Cuesta di ka nagkamali na dinig wag mo nang echosen di ko ginayuma mabait daw ako kaya nahulog ang loob niya sa akin pangalawa lamang ang maganda ako. Swerte ko naman ata na di ako nag mana sa'yo no?! Hehe joke lang po maganda naman po kayo kaya lang di pa uso beauty nyo noon eh" she continue to talk and talk until she glance on her wretch watch and since she have to work she bid goodbye at her.

The day ended without a single text coming from Kai. Di man siya mapakali at gustong gusto niyang tawagan ang lalaki but she have a job that requires her in demand beauty. Joki. Joki.

Peru di joke ang di siya tinawagan ni Kai.

She was about to leave her office when she have a visitor.

"Hi....busy ka pa?" at kahit ilang beses pa ata niyang makita si Erin ma starstruck parin siya sa babae she is just so beautiful.

"Hello..di na pauwi na din ako"

"Ah..okay I just drop here to personally give you your  invitation. Be there Summer magtatampo ako sa'yo pag di ka pupunta" She said and kiss her cheeks and leave.

She check her phone still nothing came from Izekaia.

At 8 in the evening still she got nothing from Kai. She felt unstable. Di naman ata siya iiwan ni Kai dahil di lang natuloy ang movie marathon kagabi diba? She is unreasonable last night na bigla na lamang iiyak at magyayang uuwi. Nakakaturn off ba ako?

Yes! Sigaw nang isang bahagi ng utak niya.

She heard a knock on her door kahit excited at gusto niyang liparin ang pintuan dahil sa totoo lang miss na miss na niya si Kai but she contain herself.

When she open the door.

It was indeed Kai. He wear the same clothes. His hair is messy and looks terrible.

He doesn't do the usual thing he did which to pull her and hug her.

"Kai..what happen to you?" takang tanong niya sa hitsura nito parang dinaanan ng dalawang bakla at pinagtripan.

Peru saan ang hustisya ang pogi parin ng mamang ito!

"Can I get inside?" his eyes shows emotion she can't tell.

Linuwagan niya ang pintuan at pinapasok ito.

"Coffee?" alok niya rito. Umiling naman ito.

Tinalikuran niya ito para sana kukuha ng tubig sa kusina kasi bigla na lamang siyang nauuhaw but Kai hug her tight from behind and buried his face on her neck.

"Kai...." tawag niya sa lalaki.

"I'm sorry Summer darling" he said and he sound like he is in pain.

Pilit niyang hinarap ito peru mas hinigpitan nito ang pagkayakap sa kanya. He hug her like he doesn't want to let go of her.

"Ano ka ba Kai, ako nga ang hihingi ng sorry...sa ginawa ko kagabi..."

"Summer, let's break up" he said cutting her from anything she will going to say.

Namingi siya ng isang libong beses.

Teka?

Ano daw?

Ano ulet?

She is immobile for a seconds. Hanggang sunod sunod ng pumatak ang mga luha niya peru tumatawa siya.

"Kai...di yan nakakatuwang joke." mababa ang tonong sabi niya.

She felt his arms squeeze her tightly.

"I'm sorry darling. I'm sorry" she could hear his agony through his voice.

She wanted to lose strength.

Kai's words is like a knife cutting her heart into tiny pieces and squeezing every drop of blood from it.

Then she felt a warm liquid on her neck. Dahan dahan niyang binaklas ang mga braso nito at hinarap ang lalaki na ngayon ay nakayuko na.

Seeing Kai this way made her heart ache in hundred folds. If it breaks her that Kai wanted to end their relationship it shatter her heart and soul seeing him crying. She can't imagine Kai as broken as this. Mas masakit!

"Summer...." as he raised his gaze to her she saw how painful is this for him.

"Why?" yun ang lumabas sa bibig niya. She is not mad her heart wanted to reach him out despite the broken pieces of it.

"Summer...Iesha need me more this time. I don't know how long it will be unfair for you if I will tie you in a relationship which my priority is my sister. You deserve the best Summer." as cliche as it sounds but Izekaia said those words to her.

Sa kabila ng sakit. Sa kabila ng protesta ng puso at isip niya ay ngumiti siya sa lalaki.

"Go Kai. Don't hesitate to go Iesha need you more than I do. It's only you she have. I am not fine but I will be fine I promise" she even raised her right hand to swear.

When Kai was about to come close and hug her again. She raised her hand to stop him.

"Don't. Just go."

"Summer..."

"Please...." she look at him with pleading eyes.

It take seconds for them to stare one another until Kai gave up and turn away from her without turning back.

As she close her door. Her tears s unstoppable already. She is sobbing hard. Her heart is bleeding. As she sat down in the cold floor.

You are also whom I have Kai. It's you only I choose to have Kai through the years I am living alone.

She closed her eyes tightly. A memory flood on her thoughts.

Mommy, Daddy what is love?

Love is very kind..a manly voice echoed in her senses.

Love is beautiful...a woman voice echoed in her senses again.

When it is kind and beautiful why I am hurting? Why I am always left behind? Why I am breaking?
