"Ano ba Kahell..." naiinis niyang sabi sa lalaki habang nagtalukbong ulet sa kumot.

"Babangon ka dyan or I will splash water in your bed now Summer?!" Kahell voice is serious kaya naiinis siyang bumangon at sumigaw sa inis. Then he shook his head and leave the room. His a devil.

Nang titigan niya ang mukha niya napailing siya. Mugto na naman ang mata niya. Tangina broken hearted parin siya hanggang ngayon dalawang buwan na ang nagdaan.

After the incident in Palawan she learn that Kai and Iesha stayed in New York. Doon daw ipagamot ang depression ni Iesha.

Isang katok na naman ang pumukaw sa kanyang pag muni-muni.

"Hurry up?! Wag ka nang mag emote kanina pa nag aantay si Pierre doon! Mahiya ka naman" Kahell said na lalong nagpapainis sa kanya.

After a while she is ready to go already.

He drive his luxurious car na ilang beses lang naman niyang sinukahan pag sinusundo siya sa Line Arrow.

"Kahell..." she called.

Sinulyapan lang siya nito.

"Salamat sa inyo ni Pierre, you both choose not to give up with me kahit nakakasawa na ako" she said heartily and he groan.

"That's why I don't want to fall in love. Nakakabaliw. Sa kama lang ako gustong mabaliw" naiiling na sabi nito.

Di niya pinatulan ito.

"Saan ba ang trip niyo ni Pierre ngayon?" she inquired.

"Wait and see" he said. The drive last an hour. They entered on a tall building nang nasa reception na sila Kahell instructed her to go alone press the rooftop button of the elevator.

"You are not going?" takang tanong niya. He rolled his eyes.

"My hotness is not for audience impact dear" sagot nito at tinalikuran siya.

She followed what he said and when the elevator opened.

Pierre is standing there handsomely holding a bouquet of roses. The rooftop is set for a romantic dinner. From red petals of roses. Scented candles that light the area, a candlelight dinner is set on one side, a violin that play a romantic music.

Above this beautiful romantic place is Pierre hotness, handsome face, a pretty boy face, a living prince charming.

"Summer..." he said as he give her the flower and held her hand.

"Thanks..." she uttered.

"Let's eat dinner" aya nito sa kanya pumayag naman siya gutom na din siya.

After they eat their dinner they have dessert Pierre seems restless.

"Pierre..." tawag pansin niya sa binata.

"Summer....I don't know how to start this. Fuck. I felt so nervous!" he run his fingers through his hair. And he became adorable on her eyes. Bakit ba ang pogi nito?!

She smiled at him.

"Kaya mo yan! Pierre supportado kita" she encourage him. Napatanga ito at napailing.

"The more I became nervous Summer, but I need to let this out " he heaved a deep sigh he seems troubled but trying his best to say it. When his nervous his not so Pierre Ievan.

"Summer, the moment I saw you in your graduation I think I found the woman I want to spent my whole life with" he started. Habang siya mataman lang na nakinig nito. Deep inside nagulat siya is this the reason of the mix signal before that he like her. Peru bakit di naging kami!

"I like you Summer from the very beginning" he said.

"But why?" she felt overwhelmed by his confession. Bakit ngayon lang ito?

"Pierre, three years tiniis ko na mahalin ka ng sobra. I am always at your side as your friend.!" she sound so bitter.  She felt being played by fate. What stop him before if from the very beginning it is her.

Pati ito nagulat sa sinabi niya. Regret is visible his eyes. Parang may gusto itong sabihin sa kanya peru nag dalawang isip pa.

A silence pass. Then he spoke.

"Summer you are my subject" napakunot ang noo niya sa narinig.

"Anong subject ba ako Math?Science?" kunot noo niyang tanong.

He dismissed first the violin guy before he turn to her.

"Summer, listen to me. I am working with Carlos Rodriguez not just a body guard but also I am one of his trusted men on his agency which I can't tell you the name. One day, Carlos called me an assigned a special subject to me and it turns to be you." Gulat na gulat siya sa nalaman at napaturo siya sa sarili.

"Me?why? What is subject?" gulong gulo ang neurons niya bes!

"Yes, I was shocked too. I wonder who are you why I have to look after your welfare and besides I also wonder why Carlos personally assigned you to my hands you must be special or someone is powerful enough to make you a subject. But what frustrate me more Summer, it means I can't have you because work shouldn't be mix with emotions that is our rule. It is a torture with me I want to hold you not as freaking friend but as a special someone. I want to be the man of your life. There are a lot of times when I begged to Carlos to change subject but he firmly said "NO" the client requested me. That's the time I conclude that our client is Elites but we are not allowed to know our client Summer. But one day Carlos said that the client said I shouldn't allow any guy to court you or touch you. Then I realize that this client has something for you. It is the hardest part of my three years life too Summer. Loving you so much. Wanting you so much. You are just an inch away I can hold you anytime but I can't have you for a lifetime." from what she heard gulantang na gulantang ang matres niya. She blink a lot of times.

"Ngayon subject mo pa ba ako?" tanong niya.

Umiling ito.

"My work for you has been pulled out 8 months ago. Did you knew how happy I am Summer?! Fuck. I wanted you. I want to scream baby. But again I am late. Kai got you!" he is sad.

"Pierre..."

He smiled in sadness.

"Kai got your heart baby. I am nothing again compared to him"

She felt a droplets of rain but she didn't move the same goes with him.

She reach out his face. Until the droplets of rain soaked their clothes and body.

She smiled sadly and pulled his face and rest her forehead against him while looking at his wet complexion lighted from the the lamp post of the rooftop.

"I love you first Summer and I love you till now please give me chance" he pleaded, he also cup her face.

"I love you first too Pierre and I never regret those years that I love you secretly. You unknowingly sent butterfly in my stomach. I is one of the years I treasure but I love Kai now. I love him more than anything my heart could offer to anyone. He breaks me but still it's him" umiiyak na sabi niya kay Pierre.

The next thing he did caught her off guard. He lean down and kiss her gently. The kiss he longed years ago. Doesn't gave any spark anymore. He kiss her with full of respect but she's too rigid to answer his kiss. She was just staring him closing his eyes.

Then he let go and rest again his forehead on hers. And smiled sadly.

"I love you Summer but I understand that I am too late already"

She smiled back at him.

They didn't noticed the figure in the dark soaked with the rain too hurting and angry.
