Finn momentarily panicked when he walked indoors and saw that Millie was no longer dancing with the rest of the teenagers, however upon realizing Sadie was also not there his worry lifted.

Gaten had decided to leave, he wasn't really in the mood for a party after his confession. This left Finn alone, and he sure felt it.

He watched all the teenagers whose sweaty bodies were dancing in the living room and whilst he felt like he should envy them, he couldn't think of anything worse than dancing at the moment.

Sadie and Millie have been in the bathroom for ten minutes now, and neither of them are using the toilet or anything. They are both sat in the bath with their legs dangling over the edge, exchanging drunk compliments and praises, something Sadie loves and Millie doesn't usually, however, this was an exception.

Millie was uncontrollably laughing at something the girl next to her had said, hardly being able to breathe. "Millie... Millie! I'm serious," Sadie laughed as she tried to get the words out. "You are th-the best, the bestest of the best of the bestest!" She drunkenly spluttered, wrapping an arm around Millie's shoulders. "And I love you more than any other person in this whole town - no, the whole world! The universe!" She yelled as she pulled Millie's body towards hers.

"I love you, Sadie." Was all Millie could manage in between her hysterical laughs directed towards her insane friend.

"And-" Sadie was interrupted by a loud knock on the bathroom door. "Occupied!" She screamed, laughing.

"Sadie? It's Caleb." He cautiously spoke through the door and the girl's eyes went wide as she quickly pulled her arm off of Millie and got out of the bath, opening the door and throwing herself into his arms.

"You're here!" She squealed before running off with her new boyfriend.

Millie sat in the bath, knowing she should pull herself up, but she was lacking the strength. She'd just given up when a familiar face looked into the room, "Millie?" Finn's voice was quieter and softer than usual and he walked over to where she was, crouching down in front of her. "Caleb said I'd find you in here, are you okay?"

"Like you care," she huffed, immaturely. Millie wanted to apologize, but intoxicated Millie seemed to have other plans that involved being rude.

Nonetheless, Finn still remained in the room, concerned about the girl who was glaring at him. Somehow, he felt as though her being this drunk was his fault for being so awful to her recently, and therefore it was his responsibility to watch out for her. He reached for her arms, in an attempt to help her up but she pulled them away, looking away from him. "Millie, please just let me help you."

"See! It doesn't feel very nice when you try to help someone and they keep refusing to cooperate." She huffed, a frown present on her lips.

Finn's heart dropped at his words - he felt guilty. More than anything, he wanted him and Millie to go back to normal, so despite his uncertainty towards now being the right time to try achieve that, he sat down and lent against the small cupboard opposite the bath. "I'm sorry, Millie. I really am. I'd been so difficult and that isn't fair to you."

She glanced up at him, and whilst her brain was foggy and she felt slightly dizzy, she knew that she was happy he had apologized. But her body had other ideas of what she wanted. "Whatever, let's get out of the bathroom." She mumbled, still frowning.

"Okay," Finn spoke quietly as he stood. He watched her struggle to lift herself out of the bath. "Millie, can you please let me help you out of that bath?"
