Diego stood there and stared at me in shock. I didn't know whether to just stand there or run into his arms.
"W-what are you doing here ma? How'd you know where to find me?" Diego asked still standing in the door way
I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I probably looked like a mess, but I couldn't stop myself from crying.
"Baby girl" Diego whispered and came in the room shutting the door behind him
Next thing I knew I was in his arms sobbing. I instantly wrapped my arms around him with intent of never letting go.
This was real? I was really standing here hugging him? He's been gone for so long and now I'm finally here with him?
"Breathe baby breathe... I'm here" Diego murmured, running a hand up and down my back trying to soothe me
"I-I missed you s-so mu-much" I cried into his neck
"I miss you too so damn much baby" He whispered holding me tighter
"Why did you leave me?"
"I'm sorry baby I really am"

I finally managed to calm myself down.
We were sat on the bed together neither of us talking. We just sat there in an awkward silence holding hands. I had so many questions to ask him but I didn't even know where to start.
"How did you know I was here?" Diego asked breaking the silence
"Jess told me that one of her friends work here and they saw you" I mumbled playing with his tattooed fingers
"Hmm... Ima figure out who that is" Diego said more to himself than me
"Why didn't you want me know you were here?" I asked now facing him
I noticed that he had cut his hair and that he new tattoos on his face quite a few new tattoos actually. He was still just as handsome. Fuck I really missed him.
"Do you hear me?" Diego asked waving his hand in front of my face
"What? No I'm sorry" I said embarrassed that my mind wondered off while he was talking
"I said it was because I was afraid you'd hate me for the person I've become" Diego mumbled
That hurt my heart. I couldn't hate Diego no matter how hard I tried.
