I walk out of the school with Jax by my side no one's bothered me since he confronted them in third bell. This time when walking down the halls everyone avoided eye contact with me instead of staring me down. I squeal when I see Heidi and a man standing next to her with dark brown hair and looks to be just a litle shorter than Jax standing in front of the blazer. I smile when I realize who she's with getting a better look at him I let go of Jax's hand and run to them.

"Dylan!" I scream as I jump into his arms he catches me and spins me around laughing before sitting me down on my feet

"Hello my little Dove" He calls me by my nickname that he had given me when he first had seen me run in wolf form he said I looked like I was taking flight which reminded him of a bird because I looked so free and since I'm a white wolf the name Dove fit

I hug him tightly "I missed you! When did you fly in?"

He shrugs "about two hours ago"

I smile a huge grin "how long are you staying?"

"A whole two weeks" He tickles me under my chin making me giggle

I slap his hand away "stop that" I giggle even more

Jax reaches us giving Dylan a warning growl I grab Jax's hand giving it a squeeze "oh relax Jax this is Dylan, Heidi's mate"

"Does the alpha know one of them is on his land?"

Heidi glares at Jax warning him to back off "He's been on this land many times before. The alpha and his family are great friends." she growls and looks down at me "Harper I was wondering if you were up to go see Granny for a little while?" Heidi asks me

"Of course!" I smile but then frown looking around " but where's Ace? He was supposed to pick me up"

"He still had a lot of newbies to train, he sent me back to get you, and he wants Jax back with him" Heidi looks up at Jax like she's communicating with him through the link it makes me curious what they're talking about

"No way I'm going with you!" Jax refuses

"Ace wants you back at the pack house with him"

"Well Ace can go eat shit because I'm not letting Harper out of my sight with him" Jax growls grabbing me and pulling me into his side

"Jax" I protest "what's wrong with Dylan hes my friend soon he's going to be my brother"

"I don't trust him Harper" Jax glares at Dylan and Heidi "I'm going with you guys end of discussion"

"The hell you are!" Heidi yells stepping up to Jax

Jax pulls me behind him putting him in between Heidi and me. Dylan grabs Heidi's arm trying to sooth her as Jax and Heidi growl at each other.

"Fine" Heidi says through her teeth "you really are a neausence" she says under her breath

We arrive at Granny's light blue country home just outside of town. It's one of those old fashioned houses with the wrap around porch the paint so worn down on the house it's peeling off on the sides. It's been owned by our family for generations. We park in a spot at the end of the driveway and I hop out of the front seat Dylan taking my hand in his as we make our way up the long dirt path earning a low growl from Jax.

Dylan looks over his shoulder at Jax smirking "have you forgotten what we can do to you wolves? I can hear your thoughts and it wouldn't be a smart move pup"

Dylan earns another growl and the roll of the eyes from Jax before he walks past us catching up with Heidi.

I listen carefully to all of my granny's homemade wind chimes making music as the wind blows, I love that sound. I have some hanging up in my room, and in front of my house that granny had made me
