Easter Special!

hey hey hey! happy easter to those who celebrate it also happy april fools.

the plot is Yamaguchi is feeling sad so reader-chan and Tsukishima try to help cheer him up with one of his favourite past times!
ALSO any specials I do have nothing to do with the main plot of the story, they're separate and will not affect anything, they're just spin-offs!

Tsukishima was becoming increasingly worried about Yamaguchi now and had decided to turn to you for advice. You were sat watching them practice when Tsukki left Yamaguchi with Hinata and trod his way over to you. 

"(L/n)?" his voice broke your train of thought and you turned your head up to meet his eyes.

"Uh, yeah?"

"Do you know what's wrong with Yamaguchi?" he asked, twiddling with his fingers.

Your eyebrows furrowed at what he asked and you looked up at him in concern. "There's something wrong with him? Oh my gosh is he okay?"

"That's what I'm asking you." he deadpanned and you sent him a sarcastic look. 

Standing up with a jump, you stalked towards the pinch server in question with Tsukishima in tow. "Well let me ask him and see what I can decipher from him." you told him. 

"Ah...um (l/n)-"

"Hm?" you asked him, tilting your head back to look at him.

Stifling a sigh he shook his head and let you carry out your 'mission'. Despite trusting you around his best friend seeing as though you three were all relatively close, he was a bit worried you'd make things worse. Well not necessarily make things worse, just cautious of you being too intrusive. 

"Yams?" you called timidly to the pinch server. 

He brought his attention from the small ginger and looked up at you. He saw what looked like worry in your eyes and your face was contorted into a concerned frown. "O-oh, (l/n)-chan, Tsukki! Hi."

The second he spoke you could tell there was something not right. His eyes flicked to the floor an unusual amount and he shifted in an almost deflated way. As well as that his voice was dull. "Yamaguchi, could we talk outside?" you asked him gently. 

His eyes widened slightly and looked between you and Tsukishima before a slight frown made its way onto his face. He gave you a stiff nod. 

"Alone." you turned to look at Tsukki and gave him a pointed look. He scowled at you before turning away.

"Fine fine, whatever."

"Come on Yama-kun!" you smiled up at him and took his hand in your own, giving it a comforting squeeze.

He looked at your entwined hands then up at you as you both walked out the gym doors. Usually his face would be painted in a deep pink and he'd start to become flustered, however today he just stared blankly at the floor with his lips in a tight line. This caused your worry to spike as you increased your pace. Once you two had exited and rounded the nearest corner, you let go of his hand and tapped his chest so he'd look at you.

"Yamaguchi, please tell me what's wrong." you asked him.

His face immediately brightened into a false persona and an unhappy smile became carved messily onto his face. "W-what do you mean? I'm fine!" he lied through his teeth.
