H E L L O,,, W H O T T H E F U C K?!?!?! I was celebrating 170k in the last chapter so that means there have been,,,,, 30,000 more reads. I,,, am on the floor what the shitting fucking hell thank you.

when I tell you I screamed,,, I mean I banshee cried and choked, threw my phone and squealed like a little pig. this is such a huge milestone for me. i remember celebrating 50k back in February when I started writing again and then 180k like a month ago or something and now its 200k? i genuinely never ever thought this would get so big. i remember being excited about 100 reads, then 1000 reads, then 3000 reads! and I distinctly remember someone commenting 'now almost every part has 3000 reads, congrats!' ages ago and its stuck with me. I'm so so, so grateful for you all, it literally is not possible without you.
there are a lot, and I mean a lot of parts in this story that I hate and make me cringe and I get embarrassed at some of the writing quite often so it still astounds me that you all continue to read this. i cannot convey to you all how happy you all make me. even if you don't comment and even if you don't vote, the fact that you read this is just amazing. i wish I could offer you all something but I'm not that creative or rich, so instead I offer you another shabby instalment of this fic! HOWEVER I wanted it to be kinds 'special' so its gonna be a long one just for y'all!

pps. when I first started writing this I made a mistake, all my OC's were introduced with their first names first, for example Ryota was introduced as Riku Ryota when it should have been Ryota Riku. If I ever go back and edit this it'll be fixed. Also I had Sato and Takagi as third years but I forgot and made Sato and Sakurai the third years, so Takagi is now a 2nd year sorry

The air around you was oddly warm despite the temperature dropping each day. The harsh winds of November were not to be undermined, yet you found yourself shrugging off your jacket as you and the team made their way to the sports centre after stepping off the bus.
"Huh, (l/n)-chan?" Tsurui's voice called from beside you. You met her eyes with a curious gazed and quirked a brow.
"That is my name." you replied flatly.
Ryota and Takagi both snorted at your response and a grin cracked your face. Tsurui rolled her eyes and jabbed you with her shoulder.
"Duh. I'm just wondering why you took off your jacket, it's freezing!" she rubbed her arms for added effect.
Sato, who was walking ahead of you with Sakurai and the club advisor, some teacher you'd never even met before today, Ms Mushozoku, turned her head over in your direction.
"(L/n)-san, please avoid doing something that may compromise your performance. We cannot afford for you to get ill. That goes for all of you."
Sheepishly, you slipped your jacket back on as you felt a shiver go through you. From the icy air or Sato-senpais's words, you'll never know.
The eight of you entered the sports centre not long after that and, once signed in, found somewhere to idle around for a while. Sitting between Ryota and Yoshida, you whipped out your phone.
