"A blind date? Seriously?" What the hell is Sara thinking?! I don't do blind dates. If I can't do online matchmaking sites, imagine what would happen in a blind date?

"Dude, trust me. Both of you guys were so hung up over your exes. And plus, you're gonna be lucky if you get into a relationship with him." Wow. That's it? I really hoped what she'll say about him is that he's literally Lauv. The only thing that can change my mind about dating is that the other person likes the same things as I do. Hell, I even like gamers.

"The least you could do for me now is tell me more about him."

"Then it wouldn't be a blind date."

Fine.

"Alright, I'll do it. Whatever it takes for you to stop begging me to meet him."

"Yes! He's picking you up at 7 pm, you guys are gonna go to the mall, I'm pretty sure you guys are just gonna check out whatever's cool. Trust me, you guys are perfect for eachother." Sounds like bs on the perfect thing. Nobody will ever like me, let's face it.

"Thanks I guess. I've gotta go home now, as you can see my coffee is already finished. Bye Sara."

"Bye Y/N!"

Ugh. Why am I so anxious about all of this? There's no reason for me to be scared about anything, as if this date is gonna go anywhere.

I open my umbrella as I walk out of the store and immediately feel more relaxed. The sound of the droplets hit my umbrella feels so cool. This walk is gonna take a while, I don't like taking the taxi and since I'm saving money, I'm sticking to walking.

. . .

I fumbled with the keys before I got to unlocking my door. As I went inside I placed my umbrella near the door and grabbed my phone while going upstairs.

I opened my Spotify app and selected the first song on my library

Music: idontwannabeyouanymore - Billie Eilish

I got some clothes from my closet to wear for the date, although it's early I always wanna get dressed as soon as possible in things like this. I picked a shirt with a videogame line, a grey hoodie that wasn't too baggy or big, some skinny jeans, a beanie, and my white converse. I don't care at all if this guy doesn't like whatever I'm wearing. It's not like I care about this date anyways.

I know that no guy is ever gonna like me. I don't look attractive. I can only rely on my personality to wow people. I don't care at all anymore, my self esteem is already at an all time low.

I hopped in the shower and I tried to distract myself off these feelings.

. . .

As I changed into my new clothes, I decided to at least try to look presentable. I curled my hair, put on some makeup and played some videogames while I waited for my date.

"...How did he snipe me? This is ridiculo-" a ringing sound interrupted me, I guess this is my date. I looked at the time and it was 6:45. I took a last look at the mirror and grabbed my bag and my phone. I rushed downstairs and opened the door.

"Hey! Sorry that it took me awhile but-" I looked up to see Lauv. What the hell? Am I dreaming?

"OH MY GOD!" I screamed and he looked really happy.
