Love at first sight

1. The party

Chloe was sitting in a cab on her way to a party downtown Los Angeles. She went with her bestfriend Aubrey. It had been a long time since she went out so she was really excited. In the cab Aubrey was already complaining that they could have done something more useful. Chloe sighed, Aubrey please be a little more positive and have some fun for once, please... Chloe asked. ''Alright, Chloe, I'll try'' Aubrey answered. Aubrey knew Chloe had been through a difficult time latetly, because of coming out to her partents. Chloe was gay and her father didn't really appreciate that. He couldn't accept it and for Chloe this was heartbreaking. So Aubrey tried to chear up a bit, luckily she had some booze in her purse. ''Chloe I have a surprise for you'' Aubrey smirked. Chloe frowned and looked up to her blonde bestie. ''What have you done'' she asked. ''I haven't done anything, I have something with me'' Chloe looked at the blonde as she pulled a bottle of alcohol out her purse. Chloe smiled and grabbed it out of her hands. The redhead got way too excited and when they arrived at the party both girls were already a little bit tipsy.

When they got inside they went straigth for the ladiesroom. They had been drinking in the cab so they really needed to pee right away. When the two girls were on a toilet together, as all girls do, Chloe started to speak. ''I really wanna kiss a girl tonight Aubrey!'' Chloe said. Aubrey just looked at her tipsy friend and laughed. When they came out of the toilet Chloe went straight for bar. Aubrey automatically followed. chloe ordered two beers and gave one to Aubrey. It was a full crowded party and both girls got really excited as they were looking around. Gangsters Paradise came on and Chloe ran to the dance floor. ''This is my song'' She yelled. Aubrey got on the dancefloor too and they danced their asses off. As the song ended Chloe went for the bar again. This time she came back with shots. Chloe took her shot with ease, Aubrey's face pinched while taking her shot. Chloe laughed quietly trying not to let her friend notice. She knew Aubrey wasn't that big of a drinker, but she didn't mind as long as they were having fun and Aubrey wasn't complaining, she didn't mind how much or little her friend was drinking. Hours went by while Chloe and Aubrey were having a lot of fun. Chloe was jumping around when she caught her eyes on someone. She saw this beautiful girls standing with some people. She had dark hair and she was small, like really really small. She was different from the other people at this party, she was a little darker, but Chloe liked it. The girl was there with a group of friends, but it didn't seem like she was having fun. Chloe winked at Aubrey and her bestfriend understood her immediately. They went to get some drinks and then went into the direction of the girl and her friends.

The two girls walked up to the group of friends. They started talking with each other and it seemed they lived in Los Angeles too. It so happend that the girl Chloe liked didn't really participate at the conversation. She was just kind of looking away and enjoying her drink. Another one of Chloe's songs came on, as she had so many. The whole group moved to the dancefloor. The dark haired girl was still not really participating so Chloe went to the bar quickly and came back with some shots to give to the girl. She gave the girl a little push and she turned around. ''Watch out!'' the girl said irritated. As she looked up she looked straight into Chloe's eyes. ''Oh sorry, I didn't knew it was you'' she said shyly. ''Oh it doesn't matter, here I have a shot for you'' Chloe said smiling. Luckily for Chloe the shot helped. The girl became a little bit more loose and the two started to dance. They were having fun, both of them. Chloe was really happy and really didn't want her moment with the girl too end. Unfortunately for Chloe the night did end. All the girls were saying goodbye to eachother. Chloe got up the dark haired girl and gave her a hug. ''Bye'' she said softly. ''Bye'' the girl answered with a little smile on her face. The group of girls left and Chloe and Aubrey were alone again.

''You were really hitting it of with that girl, weren't you Chloe?'' Aubrey said with a big smile on her face. ''Yeah, I really liked her'' Chloe smiled. ''Well, what is her name?'' Aubrey asked. Chloe was a little shocked, she didn't even asked for her name. How could she do that, why was she so stupid!? ''I totally forgot to ask, oh no, SHIT!!. How could I have done that, I really liked her Bree''. Chloe's face went from really happy to really sad fast. Aubrey comforted Chloe and gave her a hug,'' It will be alright Chloe, it will be allright''. Aubrey repeated. Chloe wasn't that sure. She didn't know her name, where she lived or her age. How was she ever going to see this girl again?
