5. Heartbreak

Aubrey and Stacie were cleaning up back at the blonde and redhead's apartment. They were talking when the redhead came rushing in. Aubrey and Stacie immediately saw something was wrong, because Chloe's face was covered in tears.

''What's wrong?'' Aurbey comforted Chloe and tried to calm her down.

''It's Beca'' is all that came out of Chloe's mouth. She was hurting, hurting a lot. The things Beca said to her, it didn't made sense.

''Where is Beca?'' Stacie asked softly. She was worried about her, she wondered in what kind of state Beca was after seeing Chloe so upset.

''I don't know where she is, but can you please go check on her'' Chloe said and Stacie was glad Chloe still cared. ''Of course, I will go find her right now'' Stacie left the appartment to find Beca.

Stacie had been searching for half an hour when she found the shorter brunette. Beca was at the coffee place they hang out a lot, the coffee bar. She was sitting with her hands in her head. Stacie walked up to her and went to sit next to Beca. She knew Beca didn't really like hugs but she also knew that Beca wasn't going to talk about what happend right away. Stacie decided to give her hug, Beca gladly accepted it. She just really needed a good hug. Beca actually wanted a hug from Chloe, but she didn't say that out loud. Damn, she had really fucked up.

Aubrey had managed to calm Chloe down. ''So please tell me what happend'' Aubrey softly asked the redhead. ''Okay. So Beca and I were going for a walk. I tried to grab her hand, but she wouldn't let me. So I asked what was going on. She said that there was nothing. So I got a little upset, because I obviously knew somehting was up. Then I said that I knew she was taking distance from and I asked why she was doing that. She said she didn't knew why and then I started to cry. Then I asked if she even liked me, cause if she didn't she should stop leading me on. After that she mumbled something like, I can't do this, and she walked away and I came back here.'' Chloe started to cry again.

Aubrey pulled Chloe in for a hug and she whispered to her that it was going to be alright. Aubrey's thoughts were less calm though. She wanted to kill the bitch for hurting Chloe so much. Just when things started to brighten up for Chloe someone had to hurt her again. She really felt for her bestfriend.

''Aubrey, you know what is the worst thing. I was gonna ask her on our next date to be my girlfriend I wanted to make us official. '' tears rolled down Chloe's face, she couldn't stop crying. It just hurted so much.

A few weeks have passed, Beca and Chloe haven't seen or spoken to each other since their fight. Beca went to her usual, she was that girl again that didn't care about anything or anyone. Chloe on the other hand was having a hard time. She really really liked Beca and had a hard time getting over the girl. At first she didn't want to forget Beca, but since the brunette never reached out after what had happend she had to forget about her.

Beca and Chloe had it both made a habit of getting coffee at the coffee bar. They both just wanted to run into each other or just see one another. Unfortunately they had never actually run into the other. Until this day. It was saturday morning. Two weeks after the fight.

Chloe and Aubrey were having coffee and Beca happend to walk in. Aubrey tapped on Chloe's hand. ''Beca is here'' Aubrey whispered. Chloe was drinking her coffee and she almost choked. ''What ? Where?'' Chloe panicked. ''She is just walking in'' Aubrey tried to piont out Beca in the most inconspious way.

Beca immediately noticed the two girls and tried not to look at them. She acted like she didn't saw them. She ordered her coffee and wanted to get away from the tension as soon as possible. Of course there was something wrong when she had to order. The waitress told her it would take a little longer.
