The long lost Memory

August 17th, 2003
Forks, Washington

"Come on Maeryn. Let's put our tent near the edge!" Maeryn's friend Marie said. Her along with Maeryn's two other friends Dakota and Mason where putting up the tent. Maeryn smiled and made her way over to the little spot and helped her friends put up the tent for the four of them. "Come on you four! It's time to gather some firewood for tonights campfire!" their campleader Diablo said. As the four friends made their way towards Diablo, he gave Maeryn a small wink. "Nice work on the tent." Maeryn blushed slightly and murmered a thank you. Diablo was a handomse man. He had blond hair, blue eyes, had a slight tan and was very tall and well build. The only problem, he was 21 and Maeryn was just 15. Marie laughed and nudged Maeryn out of her daydreaming state. "Come on you." she said as she pulled her along with the rest of the group. They gathered the wood and some dry leaves for their campfire and made their way back to the campsite.

That night, when all the tents where decorated and filled with the stuff of all the campers, 10 in total plus Diablo, and a warm campfire was cackling Maeryn felt truly happy. She was with her best friends and they had the time of their life, having fun, telling stories about when they where kids. ofcourse they where still kids in any grown-ups eyes, but to them, they felt like they where grown-ups and nothing in this world could harm them.
A bag of marsmallows was shared and they roasted them on sticks at the fire, laughing anytime some of it dripped off and got stuck on their clothes or hands. The four friends also played cards since Mason brought them with him and they all laughed at how fanatic Mason was at winning, but in the end Dakota won most of the games. Before bed, hot cocoa was given to everyone and after that all the campers where laid down on their airmatresses and soon everyone was in a deep slumber.

However, Maeryn had woken up around 3 a.m. She got out of her tent and wend into the forest to do her business. Once finished she looked up as she could hear some twigs being snapped by presure. She gasped slightly as she saw Diablo standing there. "You shouldn't go out into these woods alone." he said as he slowly approached her. "I am sorry. I didn't want to wake anyone up." Maeyrn said feeling slightly uncomfortable as Diablo came closer to her. "Hmmm. You know you are so pretty." he whispered as soon as he had cornered Maeryn against a tree. Maeryn's heart was beating heavily in fear as Diablo stroked her cheek. "So innocent." he whispered as he kissed her neck. Maeryn was shaking. "Now stay still. I promise this will feel good." He said as he slowly pushed his hand underneath her shirt. Maeryn's eyes grew wide and it took every ounce of her strenght to push him away, but she succeeded and she ran, deeper into the forest. She could hear Diablo groan and run after her.
Maeryn was breathing heavily as she reached a small meadow, she felt tired after running for atleast half an hour with Diablo still on her tail. She took a few seconds to catch her breath, but that was a misstake as she was tackled down, her hands held back by Diablo's as he straddled her waist. "Got ya. You thought you could run from me huh? You did this to yourself sweetie, flirting with me from the beginning. So now I will grand your wish." he said as he forcefully kissed her. Maeryn started crying and struggled against his iron grip, but to no avail. "Shhh. I will be alright." Diablo whispered in her ear as he slowly unzipped her and his pants.
Something seemed to snap in Maeryn as she realised she was going to lose her virginty through rape. A mixture of anger and fear was spreading through her veins and in that moment she wished this man worse than dead. She wished he would suffer for what he will do to her, and what he might have done to many girls before her. As struck by lightening, Diablo stopped and started coughing. He coughed up blood. "W-what a-are you d-doing?" he said inbetween gagging. But that would be the very last thing he would say as his eyes started to roll back and blood seemed to drip from his eyes, nose, ears and mouth. His gaging noises filled the quiet air and soon he fell ontop of Maeryn, covering her in his blood while taking his last, shaking breath as his heart stopped. Maeryn screamed and pushed him off her, trying to crawl away slightly.
Maeryn felt like passing out when a group of strangers made their way towards her, and Maeryn was seriously doubting if she was dead and this was heaven. There where 15 people, who each looked to be angels, that is how beautiful they where.
