TENSION

1 Week Later

Tuesday, Kimani's House, 6am

I woke up and looked at the ceiling and sighed. Only a couple more days and I'll finally be 17. I'm kinda looking forward to it but another part of me is feeling like its just another day and I shouldn't worry too much about it. I'll probably just invite some friends over and chill with them or something, I'm still contemplating about whether I should or not. I got up and walked into the bathroom with my toiletries clutched under my right arm, I placed the bag on the sink and sighed as I watched the tiredness mask my face. I really wanted to just sleep but I had to do a lot today such as pick up my wig.

Shemika and Asia were so adamant about me getting a wig made for my birthday, it's just a middle part closure wig, the bundles are longer than what I would usually opt for because, as Asia said, 'It's your birthday, you to stunt fi dem.' I washed up and got ready, I put on a very casual outfit, black hoodie, black ripped jeans and my vans with a denim jacket, nothing spectacular. My hair was in a messy bun since I was going to have to slick it back or do something with it to see if the wig will fit my big head.

After getting ready it was around 6:50am and I was trying to just get the day over and done with. I put in my earphones and went to the kitchen to eat a waffle and banana and put a bottle of water into my bag.

"17 sooooon!" Asia yelled gripping onto me with no regard to my respiratory system. I playfully rolled my eyes and giggled at the others millyrocking and twerking trying to get me hyped.

"So what are you gonna do for it?" Brianna asked eating a strawberry shoe lace, those sweets were so nice, and you could get 3 packs for a pound, imagine, Tesco was really trying to do God's work when they made those sweets. I stretched my hand out to be able to get one and was met with the packet being placed in my hand.

"I don't even know, it's onSaturday so probably just chill at home after college and invite some friends over and my big cousin." I shrugged in response.

"You're actually boring you know, like wow." Shemika said shaking her head and eating her sandwich, it was lunch and I had one more lesson before I was done for the day. "You better behave when it's time for the big 18 because this ain't it."

"Anywaaays, meet me at the gate after your last period so that we can go get the wig after college." Asia chirped in.

"And that's when I pulled out my glock, Now everybody know how gimmie got shot" I mumbled to myself. YG is soooo fine, if the age gap wasn't there I would be his baby mother, he is waaay to fine not to get cuffed by I, THE KIMANI. He'd probably not even notice me standing in-front of him, have you seen some of the girls he fucks with? BEAUTIFUL!! I felt a presence approach me, I looked up from my phone and was greeted to Asia smiling up in my face. "Someone's happy." I said smirking as we began to walk out of college.

"Yuuup!" She said starting to dance on the road. Sometimes when I walk with this girl I want to become invisible, she's so embarrassing but I love her sooo I just have to deal with it I guess. "I got the highest marks in my classes mini test, I'm a big man yah know."

"Asia .. you're like 5 foot imagination, you're smaller than ME." I replied adding emphasis to me, I was around like 5"4 and she was 5"2 .. on a good day. She stopped dancing, gave me a look and flipped her weave. "ANYWAYS." She averted her eyes from the main road and looked at me, "Are you not even one bit excited to age up and be 17 now?" She asked AGAIN. I don't really get the hype with birthdays to be honest, they're just another day, nothing too serious to be honest.
