2:24pm, Miyami Nuclear Power Plant, Mandaya City.
Nuclear Scientist 2: Chief, we have received an invitation letter from the academe. The HRD department received it last October 2 but it was just recently given to us. You are invited Chief as a plenary speaker to present a three hour talk in an International Conference on Nuclear Physics, Technology, and Applications. I was informed by HRD that the host is College of Engineering and Applied Science in Wisly University. Prominent people, professors, graduate students, scientists, researchers will come to participate on the said event. What shall I say?
Vince was busy working on the monitoring control of the nuclear reactor. He then suddenly checks the calendar at his smart mobile phone.
October 9, 2005
He didn’t reply a word for the meantime.
Nuclear Scientist 2: Chief?
Quite irritated, he then said.
Vince: Give me the letter. Let me see it.
Nuclear Scientist 2 handed the white envelope to him and Vince looked at the envelope.

Vince opened the envelope, looked inside of it, and read.

Vince read again the invitation. He then said to himself.
Vince: …glad to know the salutatorian still remembers me (while thinking on their elementary days)
Nuclear Scientist 2 was still waiting with him. He then said.
Nuclear Scientist 2: Chief? Shall you accept it?
Vince: Yes please, I will accept it. Kindly please inform Engr. Perez through the HRD department that I am gladly accepting the invitation.
Nuclear Scientist 2: Ok chief.
