CHAPTER 29

 

One night, Starcy decided to look at Light while he is sleeping in the other room. There Starcy sits near to him and said some heartbreaking words without crying.

Starcy: Light, I wish that I could be your future wife. I wish to cook you all of your favorite foods. I wish to be the one who will prepare all of your things before you go to work. I wish to be your only one love. I wish to hold your hand while sleeping. I wish to sing a love song for you. I have lots of wishes but the only thing I want is to be with you forever. If I could return back the time and be as old as you now. You are now going to marry someone. I must let you go. I love you so much …

Starcy said silently without knowing that Light heard all of her words.

After leaving the room, Light’s tears fall and he cried silently while sitting in his bed.

Another day has come, to the day when Rosie came. She finally met Starcy for the first time. Starcy still disguised herself as Light’s far cousin with a name Nine. The two decided to have bonding because Rosie likes Starcy because she can feel that she’s a little bit similar to her personality.

While eating pasta in the restaurant, here’s their conversation.

Rosie: Your name is too different. It’s my first time to hear a name ‘Nine’.

Starcy/Nine: It’s my favorite number.

Rosie: it’s nice to know that. You look like me when I was at your age.

Starcy: Thank you. I’m glad to know that.

Rosie: Your cousin is really so handsome. I can’t wait for our approaching marriage.

Starcy: How did you meet him?

Rosie: Gio introduced him to me. It was two years ago and we perfectly liked each other.

Starcy: Wow, what’s your love story?

Rosie; I don’t like telling a story about my love life but since you’re his cute cousin, I will.

Starcy: Thank you for the trust.

Rosie: First Gio and I are friends in the Free-life Company. Sometimes he is the composer of my songs. I sang lots of them.

Starcy:  I’d never thought that Gio could write love songs. I thought he is a gay.

Rosie: You’re so funny. He is not. He told me that he once like a girl named Carmelita, whom he gave his favorite red bracelet.

Upon hearing that, Starcy remembered her sister Carmelita which is two years older to her. Her sister once busted an unknown guy who gave her a red bracelet. She realized that it was Gio. Maybe it’s the reason why Gio hated her so much.

Starcy: Okay, continue the story.

Rosie: We became so closed. He knew all my likes and dislikes. He told me that I match to someone named Light.

Starcy: How did you matched to him?

Rosie: I also don’t know until we meet each other. My personality was little bit the same to Light’s lost ex-girlfriend except from her being so frank because I’m a humble and down to earth person. Gio said that to me.

Starcy: Did you love takoyaki?

Rosie: Yes, I love eating that.

Starcy: Pets? Do you love cats?

Rosie: I have lots of black Persian cats in my house.

Starcy: Wow, I love cats too. Can I sometimes visit in your house?
