CHAPTER 5 - Back Again

CHAPTER 5

 

October 10, 6:20AM, Wisly University.

There was already a large demonstrator outside the gates of Wisly University at this early an hour. The University is heavily guarded.

The Honda Accord car arrives and Vince drops by inside the gates of the University. One of the rallyist was Jackson Andrade who was at the back wearing black t-shirt and pants.

Jackson saw him. However, Vince didn’t saw him.

Vince knew already that Jackson has an illness. The president and the higher management had removed him from a team of Engineers in Miyami Nuclear Power Plant two years ago because of an attempt to disclose the Miyami Nuclear secrets to the terrorist. A psychological test after removing Jackson also proved that he has a neurological disorder.

Jackson, aside from his dark plan for years, wants also revenge from removing him in the position.

Jackson while thinking: You fool, Vince! You should get out as soon as you can, everyone will die because of Nuclear.

However, Vince entered the Plenary Hall of the University. Demonstrators and guards began to quarrel, some demonstrator starts throwing stones.

Meanwhile, the distinct politician, some engineers, scientist, professors, students, and other participants also arrived at the Wisly University.

However, they are bombarded with loud shouts from demonstrators outside the gates.

Meanwhile, Czarlize arrived with her daughters, Carmelita and Starcy.

Starcy is holding Chubi.

After a routine and heavy inspection at the gate, the guard spoke.

Guard: Sorry we don’t allow pets! (looking at Starcy while holding Chubi)

Chubi: Miyawwwww!!!

With a motion of a right arm and a little sharp claw to the guard as if she knows the situation.

Starcy resists the guard and tries to enter, she said.

Starcy: No, Chubi will come.

However, the guard blocked him.

Guard: Sorry, you can come but the pet stays outside.

Starcy became helpless, she began to shout.

Starcy: Mami!

Czarlize looks sharply with the Guard. She was at the back of Starcy.

Guard: I’m really sorry Madam, we have a Memo. We just follow orders.

Czarlize read the memo, seems can’t do nothing with the situation.

Czarlize: Starcy give Chubi to Carmelita. (disappointed to the memo)

Suddenly, an animal shouts loudly, as if protesting with the memo order, as is she knows the situation.

Chubi: Miyawww!!!

Carmelita: Chubi, come with me.

The guard stares to the Cat while Starcy is handing Chubi to Carmelita.

Carmelita went away with Chubi and handling some documents with her. She then proceeds to Ronalyn’s home.

Czarlize and Starcy registered in the conference and entered in the plenary hall in the university. The program wasn’t started. They make seat reservations.

However, after a while, Czarlize decided to take a visit in University Garden. Starcy followed her.

Czarlize: I miss this place, good to be back here in my alma mater after long long years.

Starcy was silent while they’re walking; her mind was still fixed with Chubi.

Czarlize and Starcy went more a little walk.

Czarlize remembers something. She said to herself.

Czarlize: Vince...

Starcy however didn’t hear the word. Chubi was still on her head.

After a while, they returned to the plenary hall.

Starcy separates and seats with the group of her friends and classmates: Gio, Light Spear, Sophie, and Angeline.

Czarlize seats on the middle of the plenary hall as she reserved.

The plenary hall is crowding little by little with different people and different professions.
