CHAPTER 28
A Scene where Gio and Light is at the café, talking with each other.
Gio: Light, when is your marriage?
Light: It is on August 5, 2014.
Gio: I can’t wait to see your beautiful bride.
Light: Thank you.
Gio: …about Starcy? Did she already know about Rosie?
Light: She’ll get hurt.
Gio: Tell her as early as you can.
Light: I can’t.
Gio replied in a little bit angry in his voice.
Gio: Are you playing in your old age? You should be serious now. You’re going to marry Rosie but you’re with the young Starcy.
Light: I still love Starcy.
Light replied in a calm voice.
Gio: You love her but you also love Rosie … I want to punch you.
Light: You’re my friend, you should understand me.
Gio: I don’t want to understand the wrong thing.
Light: It is not yet the right time to tell her.
Gio: I think I must see Starcy.
Light: Don’t dare to tell her.
Gio: Of course, I will not tell her.
Light: I’m still thinking deeply about this hard situation.
Gio: Is it the memory you love or her?
Light: I think it’s still her.
Gio: Apparently, Rosie will be hurt. Forget about Starcy. She’s still young and you’re nine years older to her.
Light: I like Rosie too. Maybe I will not break our marriage and I don’t want to throw my decisions.
Gio: Good decision. Hope that you will not change it because of Starcy.
One day, Gio decided to visit Light to see Starcy. When Starcy heard the doorbell, she saw Gio from the window.
Starcy: Light …
She whispered at him.
Starcy: …I should hide.
Light: You should not worry. He knows everything.
Starcy: Did you tell him?
Light: Yes, I did.
Starcy: I told you not to tell anyone about me…
Light: He already saw you at the University.
Starcy: …but …Gio hates me and you know that. He doesn’t like me for you because I often tease him and talked frankly.
Light: haha, his old enough for that… trust me …
Starcy: I guess so …
Light: Okay, I will let him in.
Starcy; Okay …
Light opened the door and there they saw a joyful Gio who greets them in a funny way.
Gio: Hello Light! Good morning!
Light: Hello, too …
They shake hands, often what guys do.
