I awoke to shrill, panicked screaming.
"Haely wake up! Help! HAELY!"
The van was rocking back and forth and there were loud animalistic sounds coming from outside the van.
"Hae, I need you aware and awake, right now."
I sat up and rubbed my eyes, wondering who had said it, heart thumping in my chest like a panicked bullfrog.
"What's going on?" I mumbled groggily.
Instead of answer, I was received with a .22 being pushed into my hands.
"There's a dozen H," Nat said aiming out the window and taking two down.
"What do I do?" I asked desperately
"Aim and shoot."
I was answered this time by Kane, who was calmly aiming out the back window. It was barely rolled down... Just enough to be able to put the barrel of his gun through and shoot.
I gulped and picked up the nearest pistol.
I shook, rolling a window down and aiming out.
I fired a round, but I missed. I rolled my window down for better mobilty and aimed to shoot again.
Rolling that window down was the worst mistake I ever made.
That extra inch I'd rolled it down gave the ghoul I had sighted enough room to shove his hand through and grab hold of me. I screamed.

Short passage with a cliffhanger because it's late. And I'm mean. If you never want it to happen again, you'll give me feed back down here. vvvvv
