Your POV
"Yes grandmother, I have everything and I prepped properly....No, I told you. I want to get into UA properly and not by just being recommended. I want to earn my place there despite my bloodline. I gotta go though now grandma, love you. Don't be too hard on the nurses okay? Bye-Bye!"
You hang up the phone as you look up at the prestigious school UA. You trained your hardest since you were young after you lost your parents to a...Nope, you don't want to think about that right now. They wouldn't want you to. You wanted to become strong and help prevent things like that from happening to someone else. That's why of course the No. 1 hero All Might inspired you to become a hero.
With help from your grandmother who took you in and helped train you since you and her shared the same quirk. Your quirk was in your family's bloodline on your mother's side. No one on earth as anything similar. Your quirk is powerful, but it takes its toll on its user if used too much at a time. Extreme exhaustion and too much usage can lead the user to be put out of emission and into a coma-rest depending upon the usage. The quirk is light and dark energy manipulation. The light being the offense and dark the defense, but both can be used accordingly. You can create hand-held weapons and have physical boosts added accordingly. Since its pure energy, it's difficult to control in its pure form, so that's why your family took on the forms of weapons to make it much more easy to control and that's how it all began. Now all that remains of your family is you and your grandmother. The last of the (L/n) heritage. The last of the ancient descendant of one of the myths that no one knew actually existed...
But you don't either......
"Dang, it's almost time for the ceremony, I better get going." You thought. You rush inside and find a seat near the front so you can see clearly. Students begin to pile in urgently to get a seat. Soon it begins.
"ALLLLLLL RIIIIIIIIGHT LETS ROCK!"
My ears start to pound at the sudden loud-voiced superhero, Present Mic.
"As your application said, you'll be conducting mock battles in 5 different areas. There will be three foes you'll be facing all worth different amount of points and that's what you'll be after TOOOODAAAYYYY! Your goal is to use your quirk to gain as many points within the time limit."
"WAIT A MOMENT!" We all turned to the new voice that interrupts Mic's instructions.
"This paper says there are 4 robots that will be in the field! Is there some kind of error? If so, such a prestigious school as this should not be making such silly mistakes! And also, you over there, muttering. Stop that! You are distracting everyone around you!" As the dude in the glasses points to a messy green hair boy. He looks oddly familiar, but the dude is right. There are 4 robot models on here.
"Ah yes, you are not wrong youngster. The fourth robot is the biggest one of all and worth 0 points. It's a mere obstacle to add to the chaos."
"Alright thank you for the clear up!" This dude with glasses is so.....odd.
"NOOOOOOWWWW LET'S BEGIN EVERYONE HEAD TO YOUR DESTINED ARENAS!!!"
Moments Later
Dang, I wish I made this training suit a little tighter before I left the apartment. Too late now gotta focus on this test.
"GET MOVING! THERE ARE NO TIME STARTS IN REAL BATTLES! LETS START!"
"Okay. Stay calm, observe, analyze, predict and strike. "
"Target acquired." I hear a robotic voice. I turn quickly and see a 3-pointer. Time to start. It goes to strike. Observe. Dodge. Analyze. Predict. It goes to strike again but it's too slow, perfect. Strike. I blinding light emerges from my hand as I slice the robot in half with my sword that held ancient designs of different histories. Never knew why, grandma never decided to tell me. Wanted me to find out on my own.
