Ever since the attack, Todoroki and I have talked a little bit more and more each day. He doesn't talk much about his personal life, but that's fine because I don't want to push it on him. He'll come when he's ready. I'll be there when that time comes. But since then also I gained new friends and got closer to lots of my classmates. Tsu and Tokoyami have been super good friends and I could see that they make a good team as well.

But now we have a much larger stake. The UA Sports Festival where we'll be scouted by agencies and go in for internships, so I'll have to give my all and show them why the (L/n)'s bloodline is the best out there. Make a statement to the world that they'll have nothing to fear with the new generations of heroes.

"Miss (L/n) here for the older version," I say to the nurse at the front desk.

"Of course, she's in the garden area right now with someone, but its right down the hall, last door on your right."

"Thank you."

I make my way to the garden and when I arrive I see many flowers and bonsai trees around. Definitely, my grandmother's doing, she had a green thumb. Always one for simpler things.

"GAH! I can't do this Rei, it's too difficult. I am a woman of many talents, but sewing is not one of them." I hear my grandmother. Yep, one for simpler things.

"No worries (Grandma Name), you'll get it eventually. Practice. You more than anyone should know that."

"No, I think that would be me," I speak up as I approach them.

"(Y/n), wonderful to see you again." Rei says. She gives me a small hug as I lean down to meet her halfway.

"As to you as well, Rei. How's everyone doing?" I say taking a seat in front of them.

"Just fine, Rei trying to teach me to sew, but not sure if it's for me," Grandma says angrily.

"More time and practice is all," Rei says patting my grandmother's hand reassuringly.

"What is it girl? How's school?" My grandmother speaks up anxiously.

"It was well, grandma. UA sports festival is approaching quickly so I'll be training hard especially on some new moves. I have a surprise attack in mind, but I'd rather wait for you to see when the time comes."

"Well good. I can't wait to see. I'm sure you'll be following Aizawa's or Nighteye's training routine correct?"

"Actually, I'm going to combine them and implement some of your training as well."

"Well don't overwork yourself, dear. That'll only backlash on you." Rei speaks worryingly.

"Of course, I'll take breaks in intervals so I don't get backfire. I don't want to repeat what happened the last time. Had to stay home in bed for a week and it sucked not to train or do anything exciting." Rei worries like she's my own mother. She has that about her that makes me wonder if she actually has any children. Grandma and I have known her for a long time since grandma has been in this hospital, but she's never mentioned anything about her personal life before. She has a familiarity around her that I recently started seeing.

"(Y/n), I have a question, however. Do you have anyone in your class that is...um..unique from the others. Anyone stand out to you?" Rei asks suddenly, not one for these kinds of questions.

"Oh well, they're all unique, but I'd have to say that this one boy is the most unique. He gets a lot of attention in which he doesn't care for. He doesn't talk much, but I know he'll come around soon, and when he does I'll be there for him."
