Shoto's POV
"Todoroki! Glad I caught you." I turn around to see Midoriya and Kirishima.
"Look man, did you hear!? UA is letting students throw a dance. To try to take a break from school work and training. Especially also with everything that's happened to us so far in the year." Kirishima exclaims. He hands me a flyer that seems to be ripped from the wall and a part of the flyer is missing. Only the time, place, and date of the ball are left to be seen.
"Kirishima got really excited and ripped the flyer off the moment he saw it. There was more to it, but he dragged me along with him to spread the news about it." Midoriya spoke up.
"Oh yeah. I'm not sure what the other part was of it, I think it was just the title of the ball."
"Isn't a ball too formal for a simple school dance?" I asked.
"Well yeah I guess so, but we're attending UA they always think of some sort of training for us out of anything they do for us." Kirishima states.
"This could be a way for us to practice formalities for prepping new relations with other Hero Companies or supporting companies. Etiquette that needs practice." Midoriya states.
This is two days from now, I wonder if (Y/n) knows of this.
"Thanks for letting me know." They give a wave and head off together in another direction. Guess I'll have to get a tux ready, I contact my sister and see if we can get our mother to come to assist with finding a tailored tux.
Your POV
"Who rips a flyer clean off the wall and not even take the whole thing?"
"Well, at least I saw another one like this one, apparently it'll take place two days from now around 7," Tsuyu spoke up.
"Well, the theme seems more formal than it should be for a high school dance," Momo speaks up coming up to us along with the other girls from class 1-A.
"Well I guess so, but after what and all we've been through, I can't wait to let loose and dress up a little bit!" Mina exclaims.
I look back at the little piece left of the poster and give a little smile.
"Well, if it's two days from now. It seems to me that we have a shopping trip that's desperately needed."
After class, we all head over to the mall and talked about some mundane topics that have happened throughout the day and possible dates for the girls.
"Well, has anyone asked anyone to accompany them? That Pikachu nerd asked me, but I couldn't say no when he went full power outage." Jiro asks, laughing at the thought of Kaminari.
"Kirishima asked me as well," Mina says happily.
"Same here with Ojiro!" Hagakura speaks up happily.
"Bakugo surprisingly asked me to accompany him." Uraraka said, her checks had become a little redder than before.
At that moment, our jaws dropped.
"Excuse me, did I hear that correctly!?" I exclaim. I was then shushed by some people on the subway and quickly apologize.
"Yes. Just now actually. I told him of course. I am still quite shocked myself." Uraraka spoke.
Soon we arrive at the mall and all separate and meet back up later to catch a bite to eat. Tsuyu and Momo with me and the others already left too excited to hear the meetup time.
"Where to first?" Tsuyu asks looking at the mall map.
"Oh, I know the best place for beautifully tailored dresses. My mother takes me there all the time for formal events. She's even friends with the CEO of the company. I'll probably be able to get an impressionable discount!" Momo exclaims excitedly.
