Fighting for His Heart : Todoroki Shoto x Reader

Villainous Plan

 "You'll definitely save him? That sounds like what someone who wants to be a hero would say. Your kind shows up everywhere, talking about justice. So you're Midoriya who needs to be killed and the famous (L/n) girl for experiments...I'll be sure to torment you thoroughly." The villain says arrogantly as he rips off his cloak and we see his quirk in its true state. 

He's fast as he rushes Midoriya and slams him into the wall as he is closer to Kota. 

"Oh, I almost forgot. Do you know a kid by the name Bakugo?"

What do they want with Bakugo? I create a war hammer and slam it into his back sending him flying away from us. I grab hold of Deku to make sure he's fine, but the villain stops me and grabs me by the neck.

"You're a fighter! I like you! Too bad I can't kill you." He pins me against the mountainside as Deku goes to free me, but the villain kicks him in his gut knocking him away.

"Deku!....Run....grab Kota....and run!" I say between breaths of air. 

"I can't leave you behind!"

"Yes, you can!.... Go!" He goes for Kota until the muscle villain throws me towards Deku like I was a rock. I react by creating thrusters and pulsing myself back towards him and blast him with light energy. They aren't as powerful in the night time, but I have to buy Deku time to get out of here with Kota, they want him dead, but they want me alive that's my advantage. 

"What was that? Is that why they want you alive is because of some pretty light show!" The villain is at my face as I barely dodge his punch and counter with a gauntlet covered leg to his stomach making him stumble a bit. But he grabs my leg and throws me towards the ground. Some debris flies out towards Deku and Kota as they're running but I block them with a barrier. It wasn't big enough to cover Deku as one hits him in the head. He drops Kota as I'm still pinned unable to free myself. 

Suddenly Kota throws a pebble at the villain.

"Water Hose...Papa...Mama...Did you torment them before you killed them!?"

"You're their kid? Then this must be fate. Thanks to them I don't have a proper left eye." The villain states showing off a prosthetic eye that gleams red of blood and shiny coat of gleam. 

"It's your fault...It's because of guys like you...that it always, always turns out like this!" Kota exclaims. 

"Kids are always shifting the blame. No good. It's not that I have a grudge, I just wanted to kill and they were in the way." I can fill the villain's weight shift off as he goes to attack Kota, but green light flashes and I start to feel my energy grow as the sudden rage at this man. 

Deku has his arm in place between one of the villain's muscles now as the villains go to counter. 

"So you'll hit me with your weak arm?!" He states laughing. 

"It's not a matter of whether or not I can do it!" Deku states.

"A hero's job...is to risk their lives to make the lip service a reality!" I say as I summon another war hammer and prepare to swing it at his head as I fly behind the villain once I freed myself. We make our impacts as rushes of air and debris fly all around us, in that instant I made sure Kota had been shielded before the attack while also summoning a shield to block the knock-back. I don't know where Deku or the villain is through all the smoke, but I see Kota and rush over to him.

"Are you okay?" I ask quickly. He can't speak as I see tears run down his face.

"We need to grab Deku and get back to camp immediately before-" Suddenly another burst of wind behind me occurs as I shield Kota from it with my body.
