Your POV

The day has finally arrived as the bus pulls into the arena we'll be taking the exam at. We all begin to pile out and I see Aizawa being bombarded by Ms. Joke. Those two were always the opposite of each other. But maybe that's what made them such a good team. Although we were getting a lot of attention from the other schools pulling up as well.

"We're the biggest targets here," I whisper to Shoto.

"Yes. Due to our experience with villains and our experience with our quirks, they'll want to eliminate us off as quickly as possible within the first test."

"We could stick with the others if we want the best chances, but by doing so we may get eliminated quickly depending on what the first test is. Either way, we're outnumbered and we don't know our enemies quirk unlike them who know exactly what ours are and what our weaknesses are."

"But they don't know that we've grown, but it'll be our decisions that will decide who will continue onward," Shoto says as he looks at me. I smile sadly knowing he was right. Our class has come a long way from when we began.

"So we'll have our work cut out for us then." He nods his head in agreement as we're lead to the arena where a man begins to describe the first trial where only 100 of us will get through. As much as we should help each other in the first trial, people of class 1-A are gonna be separated. A boy from a famous hero school from the west approaches us and is very entheastic. But I remember him. Inasa Yoarashi. Wind expel quirk, very strong and powerful. I remember his name on the recommendation list. We'll need to keep an eye on him.

First up, target elimination. As I place my markers around my torso, I see Todoroki talking to the boy that introduced himself as we made our way in. I can feel eyes on me as well as I make some adjustments to my suit before we head into the arena. As the arena opens that's when the test truly begins. Deku tries to keep everyone together, but Shoto and Kacchan, along with Kirishima runs off from the group. I want to go with Shoto, but I know he can handle himself and my quirk is best needed here since three of our tankers just when off by themselves.

"Glad you're with us (Y/n)," Deku says as we all try to find a good defensive position.

"They can handle themselves and they'll pass. If the other schools know our quirks, then they don't know we've upped our game." As I say this the buzzer goes off and were immediately surrounded.

"I saw you on TV. I know you have a powerful quirk, but it also hurts you!" A boy screams out at Deku as he launches the first ball onslaught. They don't know I'm here. They probably thought I went off alone. Let's change that.

I can see balls piling towards us and fast, I create my wings and create a barrier around us all. I catch the balls with my barrier.

"Then you must not realize how long we've had to train. And did you forget who won that festival." I say out loud for everyone to hear. I fling all the balls my barrier caught back out at our attackers. We're able to fight them off and block all the balls until we're separated by an earthquake quirk sending me to a factory area. I can hear people fighting in the distant but also a big clash very close to me. I need to find my group. I can hold my own against multiple people, but there's more than just a few people around. And I can't show my ultimate moves in a tiny battle like this just yet. I run around the corner where a giant bolt nearly hits me as it rolls by. I look to the source and see some ninja looking students pinning someone down. They haven't spotted me yet, so I can surprise them from behind. People really should be more aware of their surroundings. I get on a water tank behind them with a war hammer as I fly knocking almost all of them off and then a fire blast came towards us.

I dodge it along with the ninjas. Though one of them spots me and alerts the others now as I'm dodging balls and throwing some of my own hittings some them but not eliminating anyone. I land and then ice blocks them from me for just a moment. I look to see where the ice came from and see my one and only.

"Shoto!"

"(Y/n)! How'd you get here?"

"No time to explain. We've got company." I say hitting the balls coming at us with my war hammer. We retreat and take a hiding spot quickly as we try to come up with a plan.

"We're outnumbered, but not out skilled. See that tank over there. If you can distract them long enough and lead them over there, I can freeze them and we can tag them. Surprising them will win us this battle. I can't block one of them fully without using a full-blown attack. I'll help with some cover." Shoto says. I give a nod of approvement as I dive out into the open and send knives their way to catch their attention. Shoto sends a fire blast to a pipe causing smoke to gather all around us providing cover to retreat further back. I break the tank as he sets the trap. I stand in front of the tank for their attention on me.

"Now Shoto!" I dodge the fire blast and a pink cloud comes out of the tank causing more cover. Frozen in an instant and we've caught our prey.

I see him come out of his hiding spot with two balls in hand and he hands one to me.

"Good job team," I say with a smile. We choose our two victims and tag each of their buzzers as we head out the arena with our flashing showing that we are no longer a target.

"I thought you stayed with the rest of the class."

"I was, but we got separated by a vibration quirk that made an earthquake and it separated all of us. I got flown back towards the factory area where I saw the ninja students and you know the rest."

"I'm glad we've passed, but now let's hope the rest of our class passes."

"Me too."

We gather in a room where the staff takes our buzzers from us and we begin to rest now until the first test is over.

"He was at the recommendation test. Yoarashi. But I don't remember him at the same time it's strange." I hear Shoto say besides me as we sit down.

"He seems determined, but he doesn't seem to like you though based on his body language," I say.

"Seems so."

"How do you think the others will hold?"

"We've trained with them a long time. We've dealt with real situations. They'll be fine." I feel my hand enveloped by a warm on as I look at Shoto. His eyes giving me reassurance. You got this guys.

I hold Shoto's hand as I look at the screen provided to us in the waiting room of the battle arena. Watching different perspectives and seeing some of our classmates. I feel Shoto's hand squeeze back in reassurance.
