Days passed as Deku's and Bakugo's punishment went by with Deku being released before Bakugo. We continued class as normal and learned of the work-study programs. I already knew of them, and I already knew who I'll be working under. We were also introduced to the big three. UA's 3rd years who the top three, obviously, in their class.

But soon we're taken out to face Miro, as the tall blonde one is known as, and fight him. We change into the normal training outfits for fair advantages and everyone goats Miro into not holding back, but I'm not sure that would be a good idea. What sets him apart from the rest of the 3rd years. What makes him so powerful? Shoto stood off to the side because he didn't have a license as the rest went and face Miro. Soon that's when it all started to fall apart.

In an instant, all long-range heroes are out. I took to the air quickly before he could reach me. I monitored him from above, but he didn't seem to notice as he got caught up taking out the rest of my class. He doesn't warp as they think. He can phase through stuff but it appears to be if he goes underground he gets launched back up to the surface when he wants and where he wants. Fighting him will be very tricky. He has to have a weakness right. But what?

"Well, you all have potential, but still need to learn quite a bit. I'm sad to see that was all of you though." Miro states.

"Actually. You missed one, Togata." I see him looked surprised and look around for anyone that wasn't hunched over.

"But, Sensei, where?" And oh so casually Aizawa points upwards. He goes to look up and I come racing towards him planning my attack.

"Me!" But soon, I pass right through him as he disappears into the ground again. He'll come up behind me, but he can't reach me if I'm above ground. I have to predict his next move. Observe his patterns. I quickly turn around to fly upward, but I turn and get punched right in the face when I do so.

"You predicted me and knew I couldn't reach you high up. Clever thinking."

"Thanks, but I'm still trying to figure you out." I throw spear towards him, obviously passing right through him, but he sinks into the ground again. This time I won't hesitate to fly above the ground, high enough he won't reach me.

"Come on. Don't be scared. I'm just trying to defeat you." I hear him below me.

"Yeah, that's the point." How can I pin him? Weaken him even? There has to be a point where he becomes tangible besides landing a blow on his opponent.

"So, how does your quirk work exactly?" I might as well ask.

"Wouldn't you like to know."

"It was worth a shot." I rush him again, but this time with a plan. I begin to throw punches at him, knowing he'll let them pass right through and dodge his incoming attacks. As I fly high above to avoid one said attacks I bring my war hammer crashing into the ground sending cracks shattering all around the ground and debris flying in all directions. I'll use these cracks to makes small darts that will face downwards towards the ground. If he goes the ground and comes back up, then that's the best likely point of tangibility. If not, it's worth a shot. I sense him behind me as I quickly dodge once more.

"You can predict. Who'd you learn from?"

"Why don't you come and find out." I taunt and finally lock in with him. Both hands pushing back against his in a fight of brawn.

"I like you. You've lasted far longer than your classmates. So who'd you learn prediction from again?" This battle of brawn means nothing to him.

"Nighteye." I grunt out as he pins me down in the ground and kicks me into a nearby wall.

"Really?! I did too."

.......

What?!

"What a coincidence," I say in between breaths. He slowly walks closer to me as I lay on the ground. Suddenly he drops into the ground again, just as planned, I hope. I raise up and sense all the darts around me, waiting to feel a signal from one of them hitting something coming up from the ground and then they do. In that instant, my eyes begin to glow once more and I send all of my darts to that area. Soon most of them hit their target. And I know exactly where he is.

"Ouch, what are these things." I see him pull a dart out and I rush him with a light energy blast, him thinking he can phase, won't be happening. But sadly it does...

In my hesitation, he rushes me once again and punches me in the chest sending me across the field and KOed. At least I tried. Shadowing over me is the man himself reaching out his hand.

"Now if I take your hand I won't phase through it right?" I say jokingly out of breath.

"No. A worthy opponent should have a hand to help them up."

I take his hand and see everyone else praising the fight and Miro's abilities. Soon knowing I figured out his quirk pretty accurately and almost getting the best of him. My darts worked, but they weren't strong enough to fully drain his stamina quickly as only a few was able to hit him before he realized what was going on, and he knew my ulterior motive.

"You worked with Nighteye?" I ask him.

"Yep, he's talked a lot about you, which gave me an advantage..." He said rubbing the back of his head feverishly.

"Well, thanks for the experience," I say shaking his hand.

"Of course, anytime. Nighteye is excited about you coming to work for the firm soon if you're still interested."

"Of course. I can't wait to start." I say jumping a little into the air.

"Work at the firm?" I hear Shoto and the rest of my class become curious.

"Nighteye is a small hero firm, but he's helped train me before. He's been in my life since my parents passed." I quickly explain. I feel Shoto grip my hand as he nods in understanding. After that everyone heads back to the dorm to take the rest of the day off. When we do, Shoto and I head over to the gardens again and help Recovery Girl with some herbs in our spare time and learn a bit about medicine while doing so. After that, we sparred some and went out to eat. In short, we had a pretty nice day to ourselves after the Miro fight.

I can't wait to work with Nighteye soon, I do hope he's not too busy for me.
