Waking Up

Your POV

  Ugh, why does everything ache. Did I do some super hardcore training before I went to bed? Wait...

  My eyes begin to flutter open and I see my room and begin to spot my two dogs who lay asleep on their dog beds beside my desk. I slowly raise up and feel my head as a major headache comes too.

  "When did I go to bed?" I whisper to myself. I sling the blankets off of me but a cord takes my attention as I see an IV bag set up is hooked up to me along with a heart monitor. Why would I be hooked up to this? Did something happen while I was asleep. Were we attacked?! I unhook everything and the monitor starts to go crazy until I turn it off and the dogs awaken by the noise. They rush forward and begin to lick me all over my face. I calm them down and tell them to sit and stay as I walk out of my dorm room. Everyone seems to be gone, maybe to training? Class? But I can't find anyone. Nor could I find my phone. I push it off and decide whatever happened to me probably wasn't too bad and make myself breakfast along with the dogs. 

  Little while later I clean up and put some normal clothes on and grab a book and head to the garden area to read. As I make my way over I can see its empty for now and head over to my normal spot against the dome greenhouse nook in the wall. I wonder if everyone else is okay. They probably won't even know I'm gone. 

3rd POV

  After Y/n left she just missed the nurse going in to do her morning check-up. As the nurse heads up she sees dishes in the sink and pays no mind but does so when...the patient herself is gone. She speed-dials Recovery Girl and says shes disappeared. Once the news reached her she didn't right away panic.

  If she's woken up then where would she go? Better call Aizawa.

  "Aizawa speaking."

  "Shes awake."

  "When?"

   "I imagine a few hours ago because we can't find her." Over the phone Recovery Girl could her the intake of breathe as she delivered the news and in Aizawa's eyes he scanned his pupils as they trained harder today and especailly eyed Todoroki and Tsuyu who are focused right now as partners against Ectoplasm.

  "Let her dogs loose."

  "Pardon?"

  "Tell the nurse to let her dogs lose, they'll follow the command, 'Find (Y/n)' and lead you right to her. I'll let the students know her condition after they're training."

  "Yes, sir." The call ends and Aizawa sees All Might looking at him with a small smile on his lips.

  "Go find her. I'll watch the rest of their training for today." He looks back to the students and Aizawa nods as he slowly makes his way out and once he's out of sight he takes off faster than he has in awhile. 

   As he's making towards the dorms he see (Y/n) walking merrily back to the dorms as Max and Mochi are by her side. When he comes closer he can hear her question how they got loose. He lands in front of her now as she's not taken aback by his suddenness anymore. 

  "Hello, sensei. What's up."

  "You are apparently. How are you feeling?" 

  "Fine. But I'd like to know why I was hooked up to a IV bag."

  "You don't remember anything? What's the last thing you remember?"

  "Going to bed after the UA concert and festivities we held."

  Aizawa waves her over and walks her back to the dorm as they sit in the living room. The nurse waiting patiently and checks (Y/n) to her dismay and gives a great bill of health for her and leaves. Afterwards Aizawa begins to recall the events that happened....

  A month ago.

 Your POV

  "I remember now. Merlin and his tests...my mom...Aizawa I saw my mom! She helped me pass! Then I was...I was bound and chained." I suddenly remember the pain and the cracks that appeared along my skin as Merlin surged my body with so much energy. Then everyone else was bound and chained as they just watched me and I had to..Choose...

  I unbuttoned my pajama top low enough to appear in the middle of my chest as I see a rather large scar resembling a sword being pierced through. I chose myself. I literally put a sword through my chest. That was a test too.  

  "Yes. Todoroki and Tsuyu have been your main caretakers when the nurse or Recovery Girl wasn't in and the others have helped. (Y/n) I know you're remembering all this now, but do you realize what your peers witnessed?"

  "They witnessed me kill myself for them. Literally saw me pierce myself with a massive sword called Excalibur and plunge it into my chest. I know what they saw..what I made them witness." I bury my face into my hands as I realize what I put them through. What worry and horror they witness like what we've been through hasn't been enough. 

  I get up from the couch and begin to make my way to the porch area of the dorms. I hear Aizawa follow behind me. 

  "You didn't make them do anything. Once they realized you were gone Todoroki was the first one out the door and everyone went without even thinking. You didn't make them watch you, you were being tested by Merlin who did it. Granted even if you did choose one of them I don't think Merlin would allow it."

  "How do you know?"

  "I noticed even in the mania happening that your grandmother being there chained up was an illusion. So I figured if Merlin was testing you, the sword would've passed through maybe if it was anyone but you."

  "Keyword, 'Maybe'." I begin to rub my temples as a small headache begins to resurface as I look out and see some figures approaching. Multiple and I hear chattering. Once they come more into view I can see its my classmates. Looking exhausted, coming back from training I imagine. I step around Aizawa and step down on the porch stairs as they come closer, I see Tsuyu and Shoto in deep conversation with Tokoyami passively listening. The first to notice me is Deku who's smile increases from ear to ear.

  "(Y/n)!?" Deku exclaims and at the mention of my name everyone turns to where he was looking and they all begin to run despite being exhausted and the first to reach me is Shoto of course who crashes into me giving me the hardest and biggest hug I've ever received from him. Everyone else follows as we actually crash to the ground from the amount of momentum to be in a group hug.

  "When did you wake up?" Shoto asks.

  "A few hours ago."

  "Are you feeling alright?" Deku asks.

  "Well of course she is you nerd, she's up and walking ain't she!" Bakugo counters. 

  "Yes, Deku. I'm fine. Just a headache is all."

  "Alright, give her space. Let's take this inside and at least get comfortable before you start bombarding her with questions!" Iida says. 

  Everyone backs off and begins to make their way inside as it suddenly just me and Shoto before we follow suit.

 "Shoto, I'm so-" Before I could complete my sentence I felt his lips smash against mine with such force and passion I thought I'd pass out from the amount of air he was taking from my lungs as I kissed him back. He held me there in his arms as he just rested his forehead against mine. 

   "I'm sorry you had to go through that. I didn't mean to startle you or anyone for that matter."

  "Its fine. I'm just glad your okay. You really had us worried."

  "Well, do you mind catching me up on what's happened so far? I was out for a month. And to make up for making you guys worried I'll cook up the best dinner you'll ever have."

  "Will cold soba be an option?"

  "Of course." I giggle at his brightened up mood as we head back inside hand in hand.
