Fighting for His Heart : Todoroki Shoto x Reader

Awakening

"Begin." Aizawa says over the intercom system.

Immediately, Monoma thrust himself forwards by copying Bakugo's quirk. Todoroki blocks him with his ice while I focus on the splitter. I see many of her body parts floating around. I can't keep track of all of them where there's so many and they're fast. I can see Shoto keeping Monoma at bay out of my peripheral vision. In that moment of losing focus, I get punched in the face, not hard but definitely stung a bit from a hand that appeared out of nowhere then disappeared as soon as it came.

I block and dodge oncoming attack's from the parts when she finally pulls herself back together to go close combat. She comes flying from the air preparing to roundhouse, when I grab her leg to dodge and counter by spinning her around to fling her, but she splits off causing me to lose balance at the sudden loss of weight and momentum. In that unbalance, I can feel my legs get knocked out from under me as I feel an onslaught of punches to my gut and kicks to the face as she pinned me to the ground.

"Not as tough as I thought. Your boyfriend seems much stronger." She says cockily before she's blown off me with fire. I look over quickly to see Shoto give me a reassuring look as he continues with Monoma. Even if he's fighting he's still got his eye on me. I regain my balance and go back to blocking body parts as they throw themselves at me. They're faster than I realized as I try to fly away with some thrusters but I can't block them all to find an opening to attack and they're not big enough to counter. I still need to buy some time as well. I have to wait till Monoma has run out of time on his copy of Bakugos quirk.

"How were you on the recommendation list?" I hear her voice next to my ear as I swung around and knock her mouth away.

"How did you know I was on it?" I ask. No one here knew I was. I asked them to keep quiet it about it since I wanted to get in by earning my place.

"Connections. Didn't tell me your rank but I assume it's low seeing you fight like this. It's surprising that you even got on it and fought villains with this either. You have connections too I suppose through your grandmother, no wonder you got offered or it's because of how you got your prince over there."

Her mouth keeps flying around whispering into my ear until I was able to grab it and slice it a bit with a small dagger I created to get her to shut up. I have to keep calm but she's hitting me where it hurts. A keen eye for weak points.

I can see that Shoto is making his way over so it's almost time. Time for the bait. I start "losing" focus as she gets more hits in now as I go for weak blocks and Shoto begins to grow 'weak' as he's constant blocking of the onslaught of attacks, but Monoma feints an attack like Bakugou and turn to see Shoto's body be launched into me. The impact sends us flying towards the grounds as we tumble. I get up quickly, holding my ribs tightly and see Shoto not moving.

No...

I quickly rush to him as I cradle his head to see he's semi-conscious. I hear laughter as I turn my head and feel Monoma's hand touch my face. Crap...

I feel myself being yanked off Shoto causing me to release his head and be thrown to the other side and then hit before making an impact. As I clutch my ribs again, I see Monoma gathering energy in his hands as he copied my quirk and Setsuna preparing for an onslaught of body part assault. I shield myself from both sides as I feel the strength of the two opponents.

"Your quirk is quite impressive. I should copy it more often." I hear Monoma mock.

"Don't bother when it's so weak, she couldn't even protect her precious boyfriend when you blasted him." Setsuna joins.

My quirk being used against me. Insulting my abilities. Knocking Shoto semi-unconscious...I've had it.

Power...no one copies our power...I hear a mysterious voice in my head say. But I must agree.
