Its not been a long time since our internships have started, but I've learned many things from Endeavor. Despite being such a flashy hero with his flames, he has the highest crime rate drop out of any other hero. He's quick to analyze his opponent and take them out quickly. He's also quick to adapt to another pro hero's quirk. Something needed when cooperating with other heroes.
We came to Hosu because of more Nomu attacks being reported. Where these guys are, League of Villians must be right behind somewhere operating in the shadows. Shoto and I are helping people evacuate when we get a GPS location of Deku in the same vicinity as we are. Why is he in Hosu. I know Iida is, but -
"Hero Killer" I state. Shoto heard me and we knew what we had to do.
"Where are you two going ?!" I could hear Endeavor behind me yelling but we had no time to explain. I'll send the location to Endeavor as we make our way over to the location. Once we arrive, I can see the back alley way and I can see three bodies non-moving and one with the glint of a blade.
"STAY AWAY FROM THEM!" I scream out and create two katana blades to protect the body about to be pierced and I can feel a fire burning behind me create a barrier between me and the person I'm protecting.
"(Y/n)?"
"Iida?!" I look down and I see him, he's been wounded in both shoulders, both by a different sharp object. I look up and see Deku and another pro hero also unable to move. The pro with a wound in his shoulder and Deku who doesn't seem hurt at all.
"Deku, you need more detail in times like this," Shoto says.
"You're not one for cryptic messages. So we knew something was up. With the Nomu's and the data on Stain, they had to be in cooperation." I say. Shoto uses his ice to get Deku, the pro, and Iida away from the Hero Killer, as I take a new position for the fight.
"You can't let him get your blood that's how he paralyzes you!" Deku exclaims.
"Ingests blood to paralyze the opponent. Well then, we have our work cut out then." I say.
"That explains the blades." Shoto states.
"Good thing I'm good with them too. Cover me!"
I rush Stain as I use light energy to blind him and get in behind, with two blades I go to attack as he blocks with his, I see him go for his dagger, but I kick him in the chest making him stumble backward. He threw a knife, cutting my cheek. He's at my face in seconds, but fire blasts from behind me sending him back before he could get any of my blood.
He throws two more at Shoto impaling his right arm. He above him, he's too fast. Then Deku comes from behind and grabs Stain by his back collar and slings him away.
"How are you not paralyzed anymore?" I ask quickly.
"There's a time limit," Shoto says.
"So I've narrowed down to three possibilities. It's based on either blood types, how many he can actually keep paralyzed, or the amount ingested." Deku states.
"If that's true, then I'm type B." The pro says.
"Type A," Ilda says.
"Type O." I, Deku and Shoto say at once.
"So you've figured it out? Bravo, very impressive." Stain says lowly.
"The best option is to hold and to avoid close combat while waiting for backup. He's too fast for us to get these two out of here." Shoto says.
"Deku and I will have to get in close and you cover us from behind while protecting the other two," I say.
"I agree," Deku says.
