  Your POV

  "How?"

Because my body my be gone, but because of you, my essence never did...

I try my best to get up, even if it is kind of slow, I turn every which way to try and find the source of the voice until I face Merlin once again...but he has an expression, one of pure shock and confusion. It was then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I slowly turn towards the figure and it wasn't much of one, but it was in a humanoid form. No clothing, only identifiable facial features.

You've grown so much, my little light.

  "Mom..."

So how about we finish this part of the trial...together, with a little bit of help. She spoke as if she knew this would happen, like she knew I'd be beaten to a point of no return and needed motivation as I saw my ancient warriors behind her with a lone figure following behind them. One I knew my mother had, but had never seen it before my own eyes. I could only go based off my grandmother's description.

The height and armor you could see from a mile away as he approached with dignity and righteousness. A sword in its jeweled scabbard and its length alone could strike fear into his enemies but hope in ones heart of a friend as he passed by my ancient warriors and came beside my mother and unsheathed his sword. Its tight handle and golden cross-guard and blood red hilt with a blue jeweled ball at the end and along the blade with silver outlying a golden center that held a strange language I could not read.

  Shall we?

She held out her hand as she spoke and when I look at it I could actually see all the scars and callouses she had when she was alive. I looked up at her one more time before I began to smile wide and feel tears come down my face.

"Let's." I say turning around and I could feel my power coming back to me now, where once was empty had now been filled. I feel like me again.

3rd POV

As (Y/n) turned around her mother's hand gripped her shoulders reassuring she was there and the warriors behind her, (Y/n)'s warrior fused into her. Her fists coated in a bright yellowish-white light and her wings were as void as Merlin's beard along with her torso and lower legs while the rest shined brilliantly in a yellowish-white light. She looked to her right seeing the knight in his armor who stood with his sword held to the ground and his hands holding it as if he was lying in his grave, as he stood tall.

"Thank you..." She whispered to the strange warrior. He spoke none, only turning to acknowledge her and brought his sword up into a fighting stance.

  Merlin knew what this meant...

Ecstatically felt something he hadn't in a long while and that....was hope.

Both figures charged Merlin with such speed he could barely block the two. He saw not only the Knight, and only his eyes...his bright and just eyes who wept for how they would soon have to fight. He could see (Mother's Name) overshadowing (Y/n)'s form as she too clashes her sword on his protective barrier, still gripping her shoulders. Their facial expressions matching..she really did hold so much of her mother in her that it actually scared Merlin a bit.

He pushed them off with force, sending (Y/n) and her mother flying to the other side of the training grounds...leaving Merlin and the Knight. Their clash leaving Merlin actually a bit weak.

This is not how I thought we would meet again... Merlin spoke.

Neither I, but thou as forced the girl to call upon her mother and I...something you know that has not been done since thou took a part of my soul and made this essence into an ancient warrior for your lineage.  The Knight said readying his sword again.
