"oh come on, minhee!! they're cute boys who invited you to their party!!" yujin exclaimed happily, squeezing minhee's hands together

minhee hesitated. "what if they're going to murder me or something?"

eunbin rolled her eyes and examined her nails. "for god's sake, it's a party, minhee. it's not some cult or something."

"you can never know," minhee pointed out. "also i barely know them, so what's the point of going?"

"don't you know anything, minhee? parties are supposed to help you get to know people." seoyeon said, kicking her feet up on the table, knocking over minhee's papers on the floor. 

"we're going to that party and that's final! we'll make sure you're all dolled up because you need a boyfriend!!" yujin laughed and patted minhee's head and walked away with seoyeon and eunbin.

minhee sighed and watched them leave the college classroom and started to pick up her homework and papers.

"what good friends..." she muttered bitterly as she gathered up the papers.

"yeah, they seem like really trustworthy friends, considering they left you with this mess to clean up."

minhee looked up, startled and saw a boy with big doe eyes and brown hair helping her pick up papers. she flinched.

"oh sorry, i thought you might needed some help." he laughed and gave her papers back to her.

"thank y-you." minhee stuttered and shakily took back her papers.

the boy stood up and started to walk away.

"see you tomorrow, kang minhee." he waved and smiled.

minhee slightly narrowed her eyes and tilted her head, watching him leave minhee alone in the silent classroom. she heaved a sigh.

"since when was he in our class?" minhee asked herself as she stuffed everything in her portfolio.

"ow! stop poking me with that mini brush thingy!!" minhee exclaimed, blinking furiously.

"that 'mini brush thingy' is called a mascara brush, you bimbo." seoyeon sighed as she started to apply the makeup onto minhee's eyelashes.

"she looks... unique." yujin snorted.

"this is why i do the makeup." eunbin stated, watching seoyeon as she applied rosy pink blush onto minhee's cheeks.

"makeup feels weird. how do you guys do this?" minehee said.

"we're professionals." seoyeon bragged as she closed the blush container. "and we're done! go look at yourself in the mirror!! i've created a masterpiece."

minhee stood up and walked towards her bathroom, hesitant as to what she would see.

the sight that her eyes revealed to her wanted to make her eyesight ten times worse than it already was.

almost everything was caked on, from the foundation to the lipstick. the foundation wasn't even in her shade, it was too tan and didn't even go down to the neck. minhee mentally screamed as she walked out the bathroom with a stiff back.

not wanting to hurt seoyeon's feelings, she cracked a smile. 

"i love it!!" she exclaimed and earned a smile from seoyeon.

"good!! now lets go to that party! i can hear the music blasting from here!" yujin grabbed her hand and whisked her out the door.
