minhee looked up and saw a boy looking down at her.
"oh whoops i thought this wasn't taken. i needed to pee."
an awkward silence went by for five seconds before minhee scurried to the corner of the bathroom in fear.
"wh-what are you doing here?" she exclaimed.
the boy looked confused. "i came to pee? this is a bathroom, isn't it?"
minhee snapped back to reality and blinked in surprise.
"oh... well t-too bad, i need to pee first." minhee stiffened.
he raised his eyebrows. "if you're going to go number one on the floor, then go."
she stood up. "i perhaps will go, in the toilet, but not until you leave."
"it doesn't seem that you'll be peeing anytime soon." the boy fired back.
"for god's sake, i will, but i don't think i'll be able to go potty if someone's watching me."
"going potty? what are you, five?" he smirked.
minhee rolled her eyes and huffed. "go find another bathroom."
the boy stiffened. "all the other bathrooms have couples eating each other's faces. this is the only decent bathroom. at least, used to be decent."
minhee fumed. "what do you mean 'used to be decent'!?"
the boy sighed. "if you're not going to pee, go somewhere else to rat out."
"i will if you leave! go find some good trees to piss on. this bathroom is occupied."
the boy rolled his eyes. "last time i checked, trees don't have toilet paper."
"last time i checked, they have leaves." minhee smiled smugly.
he scrunched up his nose. "for your information miss... uh, miss..."
"minhee. kang minhee."
"miss kang minhee, leaves aren't sanitary and contain who-knows-what. i'm not wiping my downstairs with those."
"oh well. you can hold it in until you leak. now go away, i need to pee."
minhee started to push the door on him and manged to close it and lock it quickly. she sighed in relief as she closed the toilet lid and sat on it, her eyelids growing heavy from the exhaustion.
"what a jerk..." she mumbled, just before drifting off to a slumber.

minhee awoke and found herself in a bathroom. she gazed around the small room before leaping up in surprise.
"oh that's right... there's a party, but i don't hear anything else outside..." minhee mumbled before yawning.
she put her ear to the door and heard nothing but birds chirping. she carefully unlocked the door and looked around the room.
a few people were on the floor, dozing off with an alcohol bottle in their hands. food was all over the walls and floors and minhee gagged at the sight of a peeling pizza on the ceiling. streamers and deflated balloons decorated the floor. red solo cups were at every direction that minhee faced.
she looked outside at a nearby window and saw daylight seeping in. the realization hit her.
minhee had slept the night over at a neighbors' house. neighbors she hardly knew.
she gulped.
minhee heaved a sigh a decided her only way out was to tiptoe quietly
what if her rowdy neighbors saw a small girl with oversized glasses and bedhead creeping out of a bathroom and making her way to her house? would they think they're living next to a stalker? would they think that she was plotting to kill them now she knows around the house even though she only knows the bathroom the best? would they think--
minhee shook the thoughts off. they threw a house party for crying out loud, of course it wasn't unusual to see people exiting the house. hell, it wasn't unusual to see people passed out inside the house or outside.
minhee managed to whisk herself out of the house and met her front door.
"home sweet home..." she said, touching her door.
she felt her side to find her small handbag but her hand was only greeted with the fabric of her skirt.
"oh no."
