minhee was an introvert.

she never particularly enjoyed parties, nor did she enjoy social events.

minhee also didn't like festivities.

going to a fair was one of the things minhee didn't enjoy.

jeongguk was an extrovert.

he never particularly enjoyed the humble quietness of isolation, nor did he enjoy quiet places in general, like libraries.

unlike minhee, jeongguk enjoyed fairs.

so that's how they ended up to the entrance of a local fair, minhee groaning at the fact that she'd have to interact with strangers and jeongguk gleaming up with his usual bunny smile.

"can't... can't we do something else?" minhee muttered, shuffling her feet.

jeongguk shook his head. "this fair only comes once a year! i've never been to it and my older friends keep talking about it. please! you have to come with me." he pleaded, tugging on her sleeve.

minhee bit her lip and sighed. "you owe me big time," she said as jeongguk dragged her arm into the fair.

as jeongguk gazed around like a child at the lights that lit up the fair, minhee kept her head down and carefully avoided people who almost bumped into her.

"let's try that!" jeongguk exclaimed and pulled minhee towards a balloon dart game. "sir, can i play?"

"one thousand won for each," the man from the stand mentioned.

"ah... i only have six thousand... i forgot to bring money... oh well."

"get three in a row, you get a small prize. get five in a row and you win the big prize." the man said, pointing up to the big, three feet tall plushies that were hung above.

jeongguk smiled at the big, pink bunny one that was right above his head. "so cute!! five darts please, sir!"

the man eyed minhee. "are you going to play too, miss?"

minhee shook her head and smiled. "he's doing it by himself."

the man chuckled. "how cute, you're getting your girlfriend a prize."

the two widened their eyes.

"ah no! it's not like that!!" jeongguk nervously smiled and scratched the back of his neck.

the man eyed him but shrugged and let jeongguk play.

minhee watched and fumbled with her sleeves as she watched jeongguk concentrate as he got two darts to two balloons.

"three more, i can do this!!" jeongguk encouraged himself as he aimed his third, eventually popping a violet balloon.

"two more..." minhee quietly cheered as she attentively watched as jeongguk popped his fourth.

jeongguk smiled proudly as he popped it, and aimed his final one, sticking his tongue out and closing one eye, doing the hand aim motion. he threw the silver dart, but it bounced off a blue balloon pathetically. he groaned and shook his head, smiling sadly and looked up at the bunny.

"sorry cooky, won't be taking you home for today,"

minhee snorted. "cooky? nice nickname."

"hey! it's cute," jeongguk pouted as he touched the bunny's foot. "anyways, can i just have that small ryan plush?"

minhee bit her lip and sighed. she handed the man a five thousand won bill. "i'll take five, please." she murmured and received the five red darts.
