jeongguk gulped as he whipped himself around and began to slowly walk backwards from the fuming minhee.
"w-well, if i had to state the tr-truth, you're rather scary when you're mad."
minhee glared at him. she breathed in slowly and stared at him, chewing the inside of her cheek.
"the way to my apartment is five rights and two lefts." she announced, starting to walk forward.
"wait why are you--"
"i'm going to give you five seconds to run." minhee said slowly as she took off her glasses and tucked them into her pocket.
by the last word, jeongguk was already booking it to the first turn.
"jeon jeongguk, you are so dead!!!" jeongguk heard minhee scream as he started sprinting to his last left and saw a big apartment complex and dashed to the entrance.
he started to panic as he realized he doesn't have access to the lobby entrance. he cursed continuously as he rattled the door handle as be began to hear footsteps.
"move," minhee seethed as she shoved jeongguk to the side and unlocked the entrance, letting herself and jeongguk in.
he followed minhee to the apartment and watched she slammed the seventh floor button, the elevator doors closing and elevator music started to play.
"wait so you live in a house and an apartment?"
minhee nodded. "my parents wanted a place where they can easily walk to reach me. they're overprotective but lazy,"
"do you live alone? in your apartment i mean," jeongguk asked.
"nah, i live with two other students. but they're almost never home because they spend nights at their friends' house. i live alone in my house though," minhee mentioned. "i hated them the first time i met them, so i don't mind it."
"do you hate everyone at first glance?" jeongguk asked jokingly.
"only the ones who set off red flags in my mind," minhee said blandly as she stepped out the opening elevator doors. "like you."
"ouch."
jeongguk and minhee entered her dorm and minhee plopped herself on the couch, cuddling herself into the soft mattress.
jeongguk looked around and saw ramen cups toppled over each other, along with empty salad bowls and left over sandwich breads with a hint of fries and cookies scattered all over the floor.
"you sure are healthy, aren't you, wifey?"
"quite so,"
jeongguk turned around and saw minhee looking at him while eating a cup of cold ramen.
"ew, how long has that been there?" jeongguk gagged as he watched her gulp it down.
"dunno, maybe a couple of hours?" she shrugged and set it down, grabbed a bottle of cola from underneath the couch and chugged it.
"minhee, that's gross!!"
"i bought this two days ago, relax." minhee gasped as she finished the bottle and wiped her lips.
jeongguk shook(lol) his head. "before we start this project, we'll clean up this garbage can first."
"hey! the majority of this mess isn't actually mine, y'know!"
"sure it isn't." jeongguk rolled his eyes and scooped up the bundles of ramen cups and shoved them into the trashcan.
"hmph." minhee huffed as she also started to clean up.
the boy watched her struggle as she attempted to gather the mess from the coffee table and laughed quietly as she tried her best to shove all of it into the trash can.
moments later, as the apartment was sparkly clean, minhee opened her laptop and cracked her knuckles.
"all right, so here's the plan..."
