Coming Home

It was Cas and Dean's anniversary but they couldn't celebrate because Cas was currently deployed over seas in the military. Of course Cas called Dean telling him he was sorry he couldn't be there and how he still had some time left to serve. Dean said it was okay and that he loved him. He just wanted Cas home and safe. Cas told Dean to go out and have some fun for him. His brother Sam had also been trying to get Dean out of the house saying he was getting depressed. So that's how he ended up going out to eat at a restaurant. Dean had to admit it felt nice to get out of the house and not just mope around. It was near the end of their meal Sam speaks up. "Dean. Why did you finally agree to get out of the house" Sam asks. "Oh well Cas called me earlier and said I should go out and have fun so that's what I did I guess. Plus I knew you were worried" Sam nods "Yeah. Its good you got out of the house" "I still wish Cas was here though" Dean says. "I understand" Their conversation was cut short by the waiter coming up to them. "Do you guys want any dessert or anything?" Sam shakes his head but Dean of course gets some pie. Sam and Dean continue to talk for awhile. "Sir your pie" Dean turns around to thank their waiter but is completely stunned when he sees who it is. "Cas" he says tears forming in his eyes. He gets up and wraps his arms around Cas clinging to him like he was a life line and burying his head in Cas's neck. Cas sets the pie down and wraps his arms tightly around Dean. He holds Dean like he would disappear. "Cas" Dean says lifting his head so he could look at Cas. "What-what are you doing here? I-I thought you still had a few more months" Dean was still completely shocked that Cas was here. If he was honest he was scared Cas would disappear and he would wake up alone. Cas seemed to read his thoughts. "Hey I'm not going to disappear. I got sent home early. I home for good now" Dean smiles and kisses Cas. Cas smiles before breaking the kiss. "I love you so much" "I love you too" Dean says. "Dean I said that I got sent home early well that's not exactly true. I asked to come home. I asked to come home because I love you so much and I missed you so so much. I missed falling asleep and waking up next to you every day. I missed you complaining about getting up early. I missed your sarcastic remarks. I missed you playing Classic rock, I missed the impala, I missed your old leather jacket. I missed you" Cas says taking Dean's hand and looking him in the eyes. "Dean I love you so much and I don't want to spend anymore time away from you because I can't live without you. You make me a better person. So Dean Winchester will you make me the happiest person alive and be with me forever and Marry me?" Cas gets down in one knee and holds out a ring. Tears stream down both Dean's and Cas's face. Dean nods and tackles Cas in a hug and kisses him. "Of course. Of course I will marry you" Dean smiles. Cas takes Dean's hand and slides the ring on. It was a simple silver band with angel wings in graved on it. Cas captures Dean in a sweet, loving, and passionate kiss. There was clapping and cheering coming from around them but they didn't care. They were in their own little world. That night after they went home Dean and Cas were laying in bed cuddling each other. There was no big spoon or little spoon. They were just cuddling each other."I love you Angel " Dean said with a sleepy smile. "I love you too baby" Cas says pressing a kiss to Dean's forehead. They cuddle closer to each other wanting to be close as possible. No one knows who fell asleep first but when Dean woke up he looked into the blue eyes of his fiance. Cas was finally home.
