Dean and I were laying in bed. Dean was asleep with his head on my chest and his arms wrapped around my waist. Usually it was just this. Dean didn't move, he just slept but tonight was different. I was laying wrapped up in my thoughts when I felt Dean shift around and hold on to me tighter. "Dean, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Dean doesn't saying, meaning he's still asleep but he holds me tighter. I wrap my arms around Dean and hug him close. "It's okay Dean, you're okay. I'm okay" I say pressing a kiss into his hair. I continue to do this until I know Dean is okay.
I ask Dean about what happens in the morning but he says he doesn't remember. And he claims that nightmares don't affect him anymore. I say okay before letting it go but I will remember what happened even if he doesn't.
